Page 26 LRB v2.0:
"Most Big Guys can take Strength and General skills and traits. Rat Ogres and Minotaurs can take Physical abilities as well (representing mutations), but only if they roll a double. A Big Guy that rolls a double while making a Star Player roll may choose to take General or Strength Traits, or Passing or Agility skills." |

Yeah, they take up only one space...although at times the actual model may take up several when they are knocked over!!
Most of the models used for BGs can be placed on the small circular bases without too much difficulty. |

I haven't seen the new models or their bases in person so I have no idea as to the scale of it. All I know is that the old Ogre model barely fit on a small base as is! |

Damn...well, they look damn good even if they are unrulely to field nicely.
I always had the same problem with bull centaurs until I started getting into modeling the different bases. |

Yep, they sure looks good, but I can say that the overll quality is way down from the Morg piece....
They are more crude, more violent, more huge....
How do you model the BC bases?? ![Smile](modules/PNphpBB2/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Well, my first attempts were to cut off the horse base, at both ends, where the miniature slats go into the slots...then going over the open voids with putty to make it look like a shorter rectangle. The smaller rectangles are a little over the square sizes on the board but it is a vast improvement over the full horse base which takes up almost two spaces on the board.
I have one on a small round base (just cut off one of the centaur slats and used the other in the slot on the base). This one fits better on the board, better than the ones above, but is sometimes easy to knock over. |

the best way to deal with a bull centaur is to out it on a 40mm round base (big guy base) but cut the slats off the legs and bend the back legs a bit with jewelry pliers to make the centaur rearing. After that, just glue it down to the base and it's quite stable, and looks awesome! |

And we all know GW would never assume you have spare piles of their other product lying about in order to make something you bought from them servicable...
Whoops...was that sarcasm? I hope the GW net-monster doesn't hunt me down and smite me
