skaven27 wrote: well spazzfist what about those who purchased tickets that are coming from out town on the basis of a 1 day tourney.... should they loss out now cause some want it to be 2 day tournay.....
My real point was that I did not understand what Torjan was saying, and to be honest, I am still not sure.
He talks about scrapping the whole thing. I am curious as to what he means by that. Whether it is for one day or two people have been making arrangments to attend. Regardless of how many days or how many problems there have been, this one has to go on regardless.
Just trying to get a meaning clarfied is all.

the way i understand it..... is scrap the naf points for tournament for this and keep a one day and if it flops, next year it could be done better...
i mean why argue over a hobby.....it's something we do for fun in our spare time..... we ain't getting paid millions to play... |

sorry, didn't know that sounded unclear... must be cause I have Ork blood....
Scrap it means, give up in trying to make it all complicated and change everything, and fight with GW, and fight against all the people who bought the tickets...
I'm sayen exactly as skaven said, scrap the points for the tournament and keep it the one day... why scrap the points? Because if it was really for points, and had been registered, like everyone else said; it would have been promoted waaayyy better, and more NAF members would have been going..... and attendance might have hit the needed 45. But its not, and its too late to do it now, in all reality from a customer's point of view.
I don't mean cancel the tournament, or give up on it, I just mean let it be type thing..... its a hobby, and if it said 3 games on the saturday, then oh well, yeah its not as many games as I wanted, but, that's life, and at this point in time, it needs to be settled for there is only 1 week, and like 5 days left.
Scrap doesn't mean trash/let go/cancel, it means stop bickering over all the little things, and just let it fly like it says, with the primer on the friday for anyone who wants to come, and the real tournay on the saturday, NAF points weren't an issue, and right now it looks like no one is really on the money to make it worth NAF points, and with only the short amount of time, most NAF members aren't going to be able to fly/drive/make accomidations this late in the game.
I know its sad, but that's how it goes, and SPAZZ, sorry if I was unclear, who could cancel bloodbowl!
P.S I have a ticket, why would I forfiet ma money?, and to SPAZZ I'll take a default for sure... |

well, not exactly the only way. I mean, you can actually show up and play Spazz. You'll beat him that way too. |

This is true Spazz, but look on the bright side if you do show up for one day it is imposible for you to have an 0-0-5 record!
So losing to whoever will still be better than that, wouldn't you agree Paul?

Do you mean the tournament or the argument?
The tournmanent has not been played yet, and the argument rages on. It looks like Clan Skaven is deifinitely ahead determined by his snappy comebacks and his "Wolverine" comment. Skaven27 is leadfing in number of posts, and it looks like Baccus is definitely going to be receiving the wooden spoon on this one. ![Very Happy](modules/PNphpBB2/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

Well i am no longer showing up just from the fact that Baccuus hasn't even responded to any of our inquiries.
I have no idea what is going on and now i'm just annoyed. |
