I'm going to use straight chaos, not the pumped up Nurgly chaos.
I just hope I end up with a break even record - that's my goal.

Could be interested in coming along from the O Town.
Are the rules available on line? |

JTB,
Are you referring to the overall tournament rules or the rules for the different boards? PM me if you are looking for something specific, otherwise the tourney rules should be on this thread an the Tourney link on the main menu bar. Any rules for the boards should be on the Q'ermitt website which is on the link in my signature.
Thanks for the interest!

Hey man, there is nothing pumped up about the Nurgles! They are probably even worse off than the regular Chaos team. In fact the only thing that I think they have going for them is the Beast of Nurgle (S5 with tentacles!)
But bring on the chaos! Good to see them making tourney appearances. Kudos to the people who came up with the idea for mutations as regular skills and promoting our more morally challenged bretheren to the Blood Bowl pitch! |

Hey SpazzF,
I think the Nurgly chaos are better off due to the FA on all those guys and the beast...the beast is fantastic.
I'm not sure I'll even take a mutation...probably only a single claw or a big hand.
I can't wait! It'll be fun.

Announcement
I just got word that GW UK is gong to be supplying some prizes for this tournament. I am not sure what that will entail, but it beats a kick in the teeth!
Also Torpor, who donated the Lego dugout for last year's tourney, is going to be supplying another prize for this year, although again, I have not been informed as to what it is. |

See I told you GW Canada blows donkey stuff! (its kinda sad we as Canadians have to look at the Brittish GW for prizes rather than our own GW!)
Maybe one day GW Canada will learn! |

2 Things
1) I will gladly donate a kick in the teeth to anyone who wants to win a prize but doesn't place high enough at the tournament.
B) Does this mean we gotta sing God Save the Queen before each match at the tournament? |

Looks like from the Niagara area we will have for sure in attendance, Joe (Grell on NAF), Rob (Talons on NAF), & myself. Not sure if I can get more to attend but we will see.

I am now in the process of making revisions to the rulebook for this year's tourney. What I would like now is to hear back from the people who are coming in from Montreal and the States as to whether you have any strong feelings as to the schedule, so that you can home at a decent time.
Right now, this is how it stands:
Day 1
9:00-10:00 Registration
10:00-12:00 - Game 1
12:00-1:00 - Lunch
1:00-3:00 - Game 2
3:00-3:30 - Break
3:30 - 5:30 - Game 3
5:30 - 6:00 - Supper
6:00 - 8:00 - Game 4
8:00 - 8:30 - Break
8:30-10:30 - Stunty Free For All
10:30-1:00 - Get hammered!
Day 2
9:00 - 9:30 - Get Organized
9:30 - 11:30 - Game 5
11:30 - 12:30 - Lunch
12:30 - 2:30 - Game 6
2:30 - 3:00 - Break
3:00 - 4:00 - Closing ceremonies
I know it is going to be a long first day with the four games, but the only alternative is to have a five game tourney. From what I am hearing, people would rather play the six games and go longer on the first day.
Thoughts? If nobody questions this, then this will be the new schedule.
Thanks,
Spazz |
