Hi there,

If I get a pow skull and both of us fall down, can I still use piling on for my armor roll?

No...it must be used with a successful block on your part. Your player must be in control to "pile on" but being knocked down due to a bad block is not being in control.

That's what made sense, but I thought I would ask.

Yep...otherwise everyone would be taking that skill above all else!

... especially since it would let you avoid the armor roll against you when you knock your own silly ass over.

What if a guy has piling on and block, can he use piling on as long as the opponent doesn't have block?

If I understand your question right, then yes. If you make a successful block (either by rolling the Pow, Pow unless Dodge, or Skull/Block (and you have Block)) then you can use the Piling On skill.

Now my question is (and this may be answered soemwhere else): what if your player has Block and Piling On and is blocked by someone who flubs the roll and gets a Skull or a Skull/Block...they go down instead...it was their action by blocking your player...so does your player get the chance to Piling On (even though they didn't instigate the block)? {This might be what fe2mike was asking, but unsure.}

Agentrock: If an opponent goes down while blocking you, you cannot use PO even if you are still standing. The first sentence of PO says "The player may use this skill after he has made a block..." P 36. If your opponent made the block, you can't PO.

Also, remember, if you get Pow or Pow/unless dodge, you must follow up to use PO.

Follow up is not a problem with a Rat Ogre with Frenzy. Go ahead, send that catcher to my back line.
