The Sufferin Succotash might be on the scene for this one...either them, or Bobby's Goombahs if I decide to go more the "Halfling Hit Squad" route.

Which reminds me. I believe there was some concern about the kickoff table last year during the 7's round. Do people think it needs to be toned down a little in that round or is the increased carnage of the smaller teams all part of the fun?

the LRB 4 kick off table is best for tourneys now....driving X hours to lose 3+ turns to a pitch invasion is retarded, same with losing 1+ players for the game to a Pitch Invasion. Games should be competitive one-offs and the lrb 4.0 does that.....to lose a game on the first kick off event of a game is harsh.....

With three possible treemen on a fling team, since they are allowed Deeproot, those dwarves are going to need a little bit of muscle to back them up.

Anyone who brings Dwarfs to this is officially a Cheese Eater.

Ben...Paul...this means you! Smile

(Especially Ben since he has already stated that he might be bringing 'Flings himself!)

EDIT: CDs might be ok...since I may plan on bringing these myself. Embarassed

Sticky buns and the best pastries on the continent, ooh. We should bring in some nenufars from the Boulangerie at Atwater Market!

Too bad I don't think I could talk my wife into playing a whole tournament -- but she is the master chef for her own team, the Durham Diners. She doesn't actually play much though, since she really does prefer to cook sticky buns when we have folks over for gaming.

Cheers,
Maureen

Hey Brian, what if someone actually shows up with only 16 Flings and no
Treeman. I know it sounds suicidal, but imagine the fun it would be to actually start the second half of the game with some Flings still alive.

Well i think it might be time to stop drinking at this moment and start thinking straight.

Will we have to bring a model to represent Strongbranch or will one be available for us.

Roxanne would be willing to consider baking up some sticky buns, but doing up enough for 32+ people would be too daunting. Perhaps enough for the Hobbit coaches and bribes to the TO might be possible....

Bribes for the TO are always a good idea Laughing

Pre-registrations will be up soon. I'm rebuilding the Death Bowl website into it's own site and posting up the previous years results. After that's done I'll start registering this years teams. People will be able to log in and post pictures of their teams, modify their players and update stats. It's going to be very cool.
