(Hell, you can make it a 30 round tournament, where each game is decided by a die roll at the start, I"ll probably go anyways)
that would leave more time for drinking, but if you did that- I'd have to give you a -1 to your die rolls paul.

Nephew? Would that be the same lad we met at the Canadian open? Nice to see some next gen blood moving into the ranks.
Indeed! My step-son Daniel came with me to the Friday Spike! tournament and really had a blast, I would not be surprised if he were to come out for the Q'ermitt next month. (My God, it is next month! Time is getting short!)
But I have six kids at home, and am working to get them all BB primed so that we can sweep the tourney circuit and take all the prizes home to one house! 'Cuz with me as their coach how can we lose?
Now if we could just get our women to play......

Hey! I am a Spike! champion! Doesn't that count for something? Doesn't that merit respect around here or something?
I would be thrilled if they start playing well enough to start kicking my buttocks.
But first I need to get them involved as slave labour building more boards for the Q'ermitt...... |

Yeah, well Rod has never beaten me, so that makes me the champ!
Come to think of it, neither have you! |

Clan-Skaven wrote: What are the skill progression gonna be (how many skills b4 1st game) & how many total rolls after each round , plus will there be any stackable rolls?
Rod.
I like having the 2 skills before the first game - standard skills.
There will be one roll after each round.
I think that I will allow stacking after rounds 3 and 5.
<keep in mind that one roll will be made in between rounds. This will be made by me and will apply to all teams for their skill progression> |

Just got in some prizes from GW UK for the tourney!
Pretty sweet stuff! Including a couple rare models and a BB poster. |

Okay more goodies!
Thanks to Xtreme's info, I am now having some custom dice made up for the tourney - will get some pictures up of those whenever I get some.
Also I ordered some d16s from Chessex and will throw those into the prize pool. |

Okay, not to be outdone by Cyberhare and Xtreme, here is a pic of the mock-up for my dice!
There is some touch up to be done to the image, and the dice are to be an orange colour, not the dark red that is shown in the picture. But it gives you an idea.
I am having 50 made up, so these will be given out to the first 25 people that show up (assuming that I even have that many)
Big thanks to Xtreme for pointing out Chessex, it is a great site for making the custom dice!
