Don't forget that on one drive you got to set up 12 players to my 9, and by the end of the drive I think it was 12 players to 6.
Despite losing I am proud of the one 'fancy' TD I did conplete in the game. Though after that any attempt of doing ANYTHING within 3 spaces of the endzone was nixed.
Great time though, and it was a pleasure meating people from around the province. |

Good going Garth...that's one way to avoid the Spoon...CHEAT!
I'll have to try that myself.

Well, it wasn't exactly cheating. We were on the boat and one of the kick off results allows one coach to place ALL of his team on the field for the drive. |

Not all my pics are posted (some were very blurry) & I forgot my camera on day 1.

The results are entered but before I can push the "button" I have to wait for Brian to give the final whatevers to two people who were inducted into the ranks of NAF at the tourney. Once that is done, then I will enter their results and it will all be done.
1st Ben Tusim 376
2nd Paul Connors 306
3rd Glen Jones 301
4th Rob Pharand 286
5th Peter Meers 286
6th Chris Wilson 261
7th Dan Campbell 261
8th Rod Davidson 246
9th Addam 196
10th Dave Winters 191
11th Garth Elliott 191
12th Eric R. 156
That's the quick and dirty of it, if interested (and when I have more time) I can post other stats.

Spazz think you can also put the W/L record beside final point totals W-T-L ... so for me it would show as 2-0-4

What about the MOBB? Why is no-one giving them a hard time? They were all fire and brimstone when they were talking about how they were going to teach Talons (a much needed) lesson in how to play Blood Bowl!
Have they no honour? Did they not want to heal their wounded pride?
- on a more serious note - the turnout was disappointing. Especially when there are two local clubs. But kudos to the people who did come! You were an awesome group!
But I would like to know what kept people away? Was it the summer? If so, then I will gladly change the schedule. Or maybe it was Rod? Because I will gladly ban him if that is the case! |

well, lets be fair, 3 TBBF Members showed up, which was 25% of the turnout, and we took the top two spots as well as the wooden spoon.
But yea, Spazz, I think it was the summer that kept TBBFers away, I know Cam was at the cottage this weekend with a couple other TBBFers.
As for MOBB, well, who knows what happened to them.
Oh Rod, good pics man. to bad you don't have any of the beating I put on ya. |

Sorry man, that "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" sounds downright scary coming from you!
Have to reload the pictures...... grumble grumble......
Will have that done soon. |

I forgot to ask people at the end to write down any suggestions that they had to improve the tourney for next year. I know there was soime rules clarifications, etc. that people had mentioned, but if anyone has anything to suggest, could you please PM me so that I can work on it for next year?
Thanks,
Spazz
P.S. Rod! I am surprised that you have not changes your signature yet to proclaim your new champion status! (Especially as it meant scoring on Ben!) |
