Well, I would like to thank Craig for a job well done!!!!! A great tourney once again. A little annoyed and somewhat disappointed in all the no shows.
I would like to also thank Monica for opening her home to Rod and I once again. The hospitality was greatly appreciated.
To everyone who came to the tourney: I would like to say thanks for making the weekend a blast. Alot of great memories from this one.
To my opponents: I hope all of my opponents are feeling a little better today as my Crookback Mountain Cowboys had plenty of Capital A double crooked letters this weekend. Liberatchee would like to thank all his victims for the good time!!!!! |

Here are a few pics to whet your appetite. Will get a link to the whole album later.
The motley bunch.
Q'ermitt thinks Garth is a good player..... for him to poop on!
Scenes of the final match in action
Glenn's gnomes - contestant for the Best Team award
The Argyle Asskickers - contestant for the Best Team award
Dan's "Recently Harvested" Winners of the Best Team award
Gnomes and squigs battle it out in the Stunty Cup
The glittering prizes!
The drunker Rod gets, the better he thinks Chris looks!
Garth has taken to picking on little kids! What a bully!
The Stunty cup finals - note how drunk Rod is! And he still won! |

Congrats Ben! And Paul, I told ya its better to play the dwarf game with dwarfs, not rats!
Paul wrote: well, lets be fair, 3 TBBF Members showed up, which was 25% of the turnout, and we took the top two spots as well as the wooden spoon.
I counted 4, which is more than we get for league nights at this time of year!
Paul wrote: But yea, Spazz, I think it was the summer that kept TBBFers away, I know Cam was at the cottage this weekend with a couple other TBBFers.
I had 4 different sets of plans, and ended up sleeping most of the weekend away due to illness. Sorry I couldn't make it, Craig. Summer is a definate factor. Even in the TBBF glory days it was always slower come summer time. There is just too much going on. |

Hey, did anyone find a stray longbeard? Glenn found his missing when he got home and he couldn't find it in his car... Please check in your kit for one. He was carrying it loose at the end of the tourney...

Which sucks since I too was 2-0-4, although one of my losses was one of Rod's wins...

Garth
Thing is my 2 wins were 70 point wins....
What were your 2 wins worth? |

Just family stuff in my case. Needed to take a little break from the tourney scene to give the wife a little time to relax about it a little. Banning Rod isn't a bad idea though |

I just want to thank everyone for a great time that i had especially since i won......again.
Craig - you did a great job running the tourney and i love the all the different boards and the location is great but i think having it in the summer ain't the best idea to attract people.
People just have way too much stuff to do in the summer.
I'm just glad it rained all weekend cause i would have felt guilty it was warm and sunny out like it was supposed to be.
I think the best date would be in early September or perhaps early April.
