Which sucks since I too was 2-0-4, although one of my losses was one of Rod's wins...
Garth
Thing is my 2 wins were 70 point wins....
What were your 2 wins worth?
My last win (game #7) was 70 points. My first win (game #1) was 50 or 60. But I had too many 10 point losses... |

You know, Peter mentioned to me that he wants to hold a tourney in his basement sometime soon.
If he doesn't do it this year, i may just have to steel that idea and hold one of my own in my basement, probably in Soptember in preperation for the Deathbowl.
I would be happy to get between 10-20 people to show.
I could just get a couple of long tables with some fold up chairs and i have enough to sleep about 10.
I think it would be a blast.....i could call it basement bowl.
Who's in?

I would, and just for the chance to sleep in your house.... (are you scared yet?)
And 'Soptember' would be fine for me. Are there any 'steal' girders in the basement? (don't worry Ben, I won't pull a teacher on you and mention your atrocious spelling!)
Your buddy, Garth |

Just don't let him near your girlfriend Ben! you know what a chick magnet Garth is!
I would definitely be in! It would be great to play in a tourney that you are organizing, because then it means someone other than you is going to win!

Oh i would be playing in this one. I really would like to make this tournament a very casual setting.
We order pizza, wings, and beer and just play Bloodbowl for 2 days.
If i was to have it, i may try something different, like we would actually keep track of star player points and only get skills on the players which earn the SPP's. Then we roll for the skills, just like you would in league play.
i think it would be fun and definately different for a tournament.

Garth runs a similar thing at 'Carnage in the Capital'. It is a very interesting concept.
And, I would be in for any Tourny I could get to. |

It's not that different. There IS a tournament in Canada that does this: MINE!!!!! (Carnage in the Capital for those of you who are uninformed)
However, with that many people and no 'full time' TO, you had better get honest and laid-back players so that there is no chance of people screwing with the skill points. Hard to track.
Anywho, shouldn't this be on another thread?!?
Oops! I should be teaching right now! Gotta go!

Oops! Thanks Eric. I guess we posted at exactly the same time.
Hey, thanks again for the 16-sided die! You're the man! |

Ben I am sure both Rod and I will be there. I look forward to any tourney as it is the only bloodbowl we play these days. |

I'd really like to play in a canadian tourney before I go on to be a department head....hopefully the next one will have better timing. As long as its not on labor day weekend. |
