| In other news, we re up to 14 registered players for the Massacre. We have verbal commitments from at least 4 others and quite a few maybes. Looks like we ll easily hit 18... the magic number for the second painted team to be put up as a prize! |

You know, I was wondering about how having a two-day tourney continue on a Sunday afternoon in September would conflict with my watching the Eagle's game that week. So I looked it up...it does.
Did the tournament organisers not take the NFL schedule into account? But alas, then I remembered...look up the Steelers schedule  ...who coincidentally play on MNF that week!
Question is, are the tournament organisers being snobbish uncaring fans of the reigning Super Bowl champions, or are they providing a service to beleagured Eagles fans (amongst others...)? |

Not to worry...it's a regular season game so they are sure to win, and McNabb is sure to not have the flu.

While I enjoy watching football I am not a huge follower of the NFL and didnt even take that into consideration. Mongo had nothing to do with picking the date. I just picked a date between the Chaos Cup and Gen Con...lol.

Well, there is a TV in the Adventurer's Guild (used almost exclusively for football season) and since the Stillers won t be on, I m sure the Eagles game will be playing... we ll see if we can arrange for interested Philly fans to be at the appropriate tables.
If nothing else we can TiVO it and people can come back to our house to watch it afterward on the big screen TV!! |
