Wow Brian!
This is why the Deathbowl is the creme de la creme of the Canadian tourneys! What a fantastic effort! As always, much appreciated, and you can count on my attendance this year again!

GenCon had 45 Brian ... and I honestly hope you can top it. I'm working as much as I can to get the Chaos Cup to top it. North America can only benefit if it has 3 fourty+ player tournaments.
Sounds like a great tournament and I wish I could make it.

45? Where did you squeek in that extra player? You counting yerself
I knew you'd find it cool if I mentioned the GC attendance and an attempt to beat it. It's a bit of a long shot but I've got my fingers crossed. High attendance at tourneys, anyones tourneys with any rule set, is a good thing for all of us in North America and a good sign that things are moving in the right direction. I also want a high attendance this year at the DB because I'm going to put it to a vote as to what next years rule set will be. I've got no love for LRB 5 but if that's what the people want, so it shall be done. I have a feeling though that the vote here will be tight and that 4.0 will come out on top. It'll depend on who finally shows up and wants to make their voice heard. |

- Most Halflings killed in 1 half
- Most Halflings killed in 1 game
The Most Flings Killed awards will receive certificates and a prize pick.
I was sitting hear reading that over and it occured to me that it's rather likely that whoever gets the most kills in one game will also have the most kills in one turn and one half. Thus giving one person 3 prizes. Not to mention it's supposed to be a Fling year and that's a three to 1 trophy ratio against flings. I'm going to switch that up.

- Most TD's by a Halfling team
- Most Cas by a Halfling team
The "Most" awards will receive certificates and a prize pick.
Better I think. Opinions? |

Because it'll be rather embarasing when none of the Fling teams get any Kills. That's why I put it as most CAS. |

I like the new award list - gives the fling teams something more to brag about! Also provides more incentive to people who might want to bring halflings to the Deathbowl - the extra awards might be the final push they need. |

Go with the halflings! You stand more chance of winning an award that way!
(Even if you are the Spike! 2006 Champion) |

Sorry guys, but I don't think I will be able to make it this year. Kim is due on October 8 but if she is late, I can't be 2.5 hours away. If she is on time, she probably won't want me to leave for the weekend.
