Here is the first of fourteen of my new halfling team - the Killer Bees!
All will have the little antennae and striped shirts, and some will have other minor conversion work on them like this guy.
From the front...
and from the back...
The bobbles on the antennae will be colour coded to remind me and my opponents as to which bee has which skills as the tourney progresses.
Sorry for the crap pictures, he is really not so muddy looking in real life!

So the strategy is to cause your opponent to make mistakes due to uncontrollable laughter?
I dig the concept though. Nicely done! |

No, I plan to mess my opponent up by leaving him (or her) with no rerolls! The laughter will be my evil guffawing at their pitiful cries for mercy!
Thanks for the kudos, but I do wish my camera took better pictures up close, as he really does look better in person.
More pics of the team as they progress. |

I'm not sure about the cone-shapped helmets, maybe one of their sponsors is a HE honey distributor...
I agree that there needs to be lil stingers on their backsides to complete the look!
looks great, and good luck with the rest of the team! |

Well this is the only guy with the cone-shaped helmet. Had some green stuff to use and thought I would try something different.
As for the stingers.... nice idea.... I will think about it. (Just me being so lazy about these things sometimes, that that just means that I have to go back to drilling and puttying! ) |

Here are some more pics of the little lads as promised. Currently six of them are done, and once I have finished the seventh then I will reward myself by painting the treeman.
Here are three of the bees (including the one already shown)
Three more of the little guys
A sneak peek of the treeman (with halfling for size comparison) - the lumps in his foliage are the beehives!

For the record I was too lazy with this bunch of bees and did not do stingers on any of them. I still need to get a few more 'flings and will try my hand at it with at least one of them when I do them up.
If I do at least one stinger, then he can be a DP, if I opt for one with a lucky doubles roll! ( Or more likely 3 doubles rolls, as the first two would be block for the treemen!) |

Here is the newly completed team!
A shot of the team on their home turf:
The home turf logo:
"Royal Jelly" One of the plucky little sots
"Honeypot" Another one of the Bees.
Counters for when the trees get knocked on their keisters (so as to not take up too much room!)
"Beehive" the aforementioned treeman, in all his painted splendour
"Queenie" the other teeman (treewoman?) with her crown of beehives. Her age is given away by her whitish bark and aged foliage!
The Bees' personal hot dog vendor, they never leave home without him!

Sweet Job Craig. The treeman turned out fantastic. Did you put little stingers on the flings butts???? It might be the only thing to save them against my Crookback Mountain Cowboys. |

No, look at it, and it didn't look like it was going to work very cleanly, so I abandoned the idea (that and I was too friggin' lazy!) But no fears, I won't need stingers to deal with your poofie rats! |
