Hi all. I have just become a Naf member and thought I should introduce myself to my neighbours.
My Name is Gareth Hamilton and I am the league commisioner for the Lincoln based gaming club Gobstyks.
We have a website you might want to checkout but for the life of me I cant remember the address, Ill come back to it later.
As well as our regular year long competition the GOBSTYKUP (last year presented to the first winner Tim Pickers by none other than Jervis Johnson himself!) I have started up a Knock out cup and a League which has got BB fever raging at our club at the moment.
So if anyone lives in the area and is looking for someone to play BB then you can be pretty sure of finding an opponent at Gobstyks.
I run a very relaxed league. I usually allow players to try out most of the experimental rules published in the BB mag or ones they come up with themselves, especialy if effort has gone into creating a cool conversion or paint job.
Anyway, enough of my ramblings. I look forward to gaining tips from fellow Blood Bowl Fans.

Welcome, Gareth - I trust you will find you NAF membership enjoyable and enlightening, as I have. BTW, I found the Gobstyks site (www.gobstyks.co.uk) interesting - the 'Presidente' Will was very helpful in providing more detail in the construction of the Blood Bowl stadium project. Glad to see the club represent! |

Hey Gareth, welcome.
(Nice stadium on the Gobstyx site, btw) Just had a quick scan at your forums, and noticed that somebody was talking about using the Khemri rules from BB Mag 3. A word of warning, that version is most definately broken, and has been revised in the 2003 Annual. |

Hiya Gareth! I had already seen the Gobstyks website (but don't ask me how I ever found that site - Altavista works in mysterious ways )
Nice battle report against the frogs, by the way (if your luck in BloodBowl is as good as it is in Fantasy Battle we should really meet for, let's say, the BloodBowl finals... )
grtz.,

Try
www.gobstyks.co.uk
and then look in the Projects section. All credit needs to go to Will Platten for the stadium.

Welcome Gareth - always nice to have more members
Took a quick glance around your website - did I understand correctly that you're still using the 4th edition rules?
You might want to upgrade your BB experience to the LRB2.0 era - download the free rulebook from http://www.bloodbowl.com |

Hey Gareth, nice to have you onboard! If you ever host a NAF tournament make sure you advertise it and I'll get my league along to join in...
Speaking of tournaments, I really should start getting my act together for CamCarnage 2003 |
