To go along with Spazzfist's post about modeling for "Take Root", does anyone have any suggestions for modelling something for Hypnotic Gaze? So far, I've just been turning models to face the sideline as opposed to either endzone.
Right now I'm thinking something along the lines of a cotton ball stretched over the opponents head to be like "clouded perception". Anybody have any ideas? Or should I just stick to the turning of the models sideways? |

One thing that someond on tBB suggested to meis to have a larger square base under the treeman when he has taken root. This base would have roots growing out of it to show the effect.
You could have something similar with the HG. Maybe a base with the swirly circular pattern (you know, like those hynptic coins), or even a 3mm circular base that reads "hypnotized". |

And for really stupid / bone head - a pointy hat with a 'Duh Where am I' flag (or several such hats if playing Ogres)

You could even do up a generic Human player who looks completely entranced and sort of limply standing up to use as the Hypnotic Gaze marker.

Maybe not as interesting looking, but Impact! has plastic tokens with NO ZONE on them that are supposed to be used for losing TZ due to Hypno gaze, Bonehead, etc |

Nice and basic. That actually sounds like a pretty good idea in all honesty. Functionality is sometimes better than something that looks really elaborate.
