Hi fellow Blood Bowlers,
for the next years Dungeon Bowl, there will be a few additions to the current LRB (5.0):
- Coach: Your coach can interact with the Referee - LRB 4
- Apothecary: The Apothecary behaves like in LRB 4
- "new" Post-Match Sequence
- ...
All the Rules and additions will be published in an online booklet (like last year).
Cheers

@CoachRattenfetza
Please think about giving all the skills to the players before the 1st match. This way it won't matter wether you meet a team in match 1 or 6. Also please think of a team rating like 110.
Cheers

My Zombies will love that
I also think giving all the skills before the tourney is better and provides much more even matchups. |

Skill Progression Farina System
It is like:
You have 4 skills plus one of those 4 options:
1. one ST+1
2. one AG+1 and a skill
3. one MO+1 and a double/normal skill
4. two doubles, or two normal skills
The Farina System as in use on most italian tournaments. IMO the best system for skills before the first game. |

I was informed that the Farina system is not used in most italian tourneys. Well it was in used in my tournament (GTI-Cup huah!) and in variation in at least three other tournaments around the globe.
Some say it is a little boring to play all the games with the same team. Well I thought it was nice to have a squad fit with a mission right from the start. |

Absolutely agree with you.
Of all the italian coaches I spoke with, only a couple of players here in Italy told me they find that system boring. All other ones like the challenge.
And if maybe is not used in most Italian tournaments, it is used in the biggest ones: Italian Open (since last year), in a variant (splitted in 2: 3 skill at the start of first day and 3 at the start of the second) at the Dolphins Shield in Pescia and "pure" again at BB Coliseum in Rome |

I think it's a big mistake.
-First, it's a GW event and should follow the latest official rules.
-Second, there's no interest on those 2 points. LRB5 referee rules tunes down fouling while allowing both team to foul. Apothicary is automatic on a badly hurt and a tactical bet for other injuries.
-Third, you can't mix LRB4 and 5. It's an heresy
-Finally, you should better change riot to a turn forward and backward than changing what works fine. |

I must agree with Louis here.
Mixing rulesets is a bad idea. |

I second both postings before mine.
I am not a fan of mixing old and new ruleset, it only led to confusion during the game and until the Dungeon Bowl2 007 takes place a lot of the coaches have attended straight LRB 5.0 tourneys or are familiar with the new rules.
So please keep a official GW tourney conform to the newest ruleset available. |

I disagree. I think the LRB 4 Apo and Argue the Call are going to be popular tourney "houserules" at many LRB 5 tourneys. |

The new apo rule now is a disadvantage for any team that can hire one, making regenerate now even stronger as it was at tournaments.
That could be the point, while they want to keep it like it was in LRB 4.0.
As for the fouling, even if you roll a double on av or injury you could argue the call, making fouling even more worse.
I fouled 7 turns continuesly without a double in the last match, I was spotted during the 8th one and argued just for fun and rolled 6..Lucky I know, but still with the rulechange very welcomed for teams with cheap lineman. Not to mention, that fouling counted for most cas the last Dungeon Bowl tournaments.
What's up with Secret Weapons? Can I argue then, or not?
Nevertheless, still enough time until the tournament starts and I will be there for the 4th time for sure |

That's why he said he did it for fun, so it didn't count. |
