Love the idea of it being live online, trying to pursaude my girlfriend to "watch" whilst i'm away.

Quick question, are we going to be able to renew our NAF membership at the Deathbowl?

cheers,

As of this morning we've got 30 coaches signed up. Thank you to everyone who has pre-registered. It really helps to plan the event knowing how many people might show up. Thank you also to all of you who have been out there banging the war drums rallying the troops. Without all of you Death Bowl wouldn't exist.

Well ok it would but it would be a lot harder to justify to my wife Laughing

Keep up the good work!

And it is also nice for the TO to know that he is going to have a decent attendance! Wink

What part will be live ??? just the final round or the whole event?

& if it is live, can somebody record it for me so I can have a copy to view in the future?

Sorry. By live I didn't mean that we would be broadcasting video. Sorry if I gave that impression. I guess I should have defined live. Confused

We'll be running the event right from the website. We'll be posting results as they happen as well as all the other stats we usually record. Skill picks should be able to be entered as you get them. Basically this year intead of using the Excel spreadsheet I usually use we'll be using the website so anyone who is interested in seeing how the results are going can check them out.

Maybe some day we'll get to video but not just yet. Baby steps Smile Lets try to walk before we run.

Ok, so are you setting up an internet cafe so the coaches who attend can check it out between games? Wink Laughing

Hey Folks,

Good and bad news here. I just got offered a job back in Nova Scotia, so I will be moving back home and now have a source of income (I guess all this school actually did pay off)

The bad news is, it means I won't be able to make it to the Deathbowl. I start the day after the Deathbowl, and theres just too much going with the move and starting work to fly to Montreal for the weekend. Sorry guys, I'm really dissapointed that I won't make it.

I'm still going to do my best to stay active in the tournament scene. Flights to Toronto and Montreal are cheap from Halifax, so I plan to attaend the Canadian Open and the Deathbowl as often as I can.

Hope everyone has a good time.

Your company will be missed both by us drinkers at the DB, as well as the TBBF, Paul. Good luck with the new job, and looking forward to seeing you at future tourneys!

Actually, I was looking at a goblin team disguised as halflings, complete wtih trolls dressed up as treemen. I guess I'll have to back burner that idea though.

As for Garth, yea, no one likes him Smile

Have fun guys.
