Ok, so maybe you guys can clarify things a little. The original appearance of the Lizardman team had a special rule for skinks that read something like:
"Add +1 to injury rolls for Skinks" - To represent the fact they are so little and wimpy I think.
It is not in the Living Rulebook which leads me to ask the following question:
"Is this a purposefull choice by the Blood Bowl Rules Commission or an omission on the rulebook which needs to be updated?"
What do you think? I personally think that they SHOULD add +1 to the injury roll as otherwise they are far too good a player - making them easier to hurt will certainly offset their amazing speed and dodge/stunty combo... |

Stunty players are just a bit too small to throw the ball very
well, and so must increase the range by one category when
they make a pass. In addition, the little guys tend to break
rather easily, which is represented by allowing the opposing
coach to add +1 whenever he makes an Injury roll to a stunty
player. This is in addition to any other modifiers that might
apply.
Skinks still have +1 to injury, it was never deleted.

Great! I knew it should be in there somewhere but just couldn't find it. So the only stunty players are Goblins and Skinks, right? |

Currently and officially, yes. I haven't heard of any new teams team being created that include any new stunty players. |

I've never played them, but from what I've heard, they're a pretty tough bunch to beat. If you remove the +1 Injury, I think it's a big advantage to them.
Now, if you remove Stunty, it isn't the same ballgame. But do you want to remove all the good part of Stunty for "only" the +1 injury ? Don't think so !
Let them be smashed !

They are a really hard team. You can have a starting line up of 6 strength 4 players and still run 10 squares (God of go for it being with you) in one turn!! WOW!
I beat them last night with my Dwarfs by using a very shamefull tactic: Gaining the ball, running up to the endzone and then staying there while battering the enemy players so that I can win near the end of the half giving my opponant not enough time to score....
I know, outragious and not in the spirit of the game really. All I can say in my defence was that my opponant used effectively the same tactics with a little git of a skink in our last game. By speeding off with the ball so he hade at least a 7 square lead on my Longbeards, he simply kept hitting me with strength 4 blocks until he got bored and scored....
Fight fir with fire is my line and I'm sticking to it!! |

Yeah, they are one of the few teams that I don't have...so I tend to forget about them. |
