I am sticking my toe in the water to gauge interest for a possible charity Blood Bowl tournament to be held in Brighton, UK in either November or Early December this Year. Probable dates will either be the 11/12th Nov or 25th/26th.
Inspired by the success of the Thrudbowl Tournament in Bognor last month (I was the dark elf player) I am hoping to run an ???Italian Job??? themed tournament in conjunction with my Fiancé whom I???m supporting in trying to raise over £1,500 for the National Childrens Home (NCH) as part of the Italian Job Mini Rally. (www.italianjob.com).
The idea is to have Italian job themed memorabilia auction/raffle, cheap Italian food with proceeds going to charity, Italian sport and mini themed spot prizes (corrupt referee???s anyone?) and possibly if sufficient interest an Italian meal in the evening at one of the many Italian restaurants.
I haven???t confirmed a venue yet as I want to gauge the likely numbers but I???m looking for somewhere central as Brighton???s very well connected by road and rail. It would also be the ideal opportunity to bring the WAG???s along for a weekend Christmas Shopping by the sea!
Anyway, please let me know or send me a PM if you think you might be interested and I will get to work!

I would like to, but that is a bad wkend as Eurobowl is on then so several likely visitors will be absent. Then again....you cant do them all so dont let that stop you! |

Thanks for the responses,
I'm gonna go ahead and looking like it will be the weekend 25th/26th November as that avoids the clash with Eurobowl, gives me more time and is generally a better weekend for me anyway as I'm only just back from supporting my team in italy the earlier weekend.
Hopefully I will have a venue confirmed in the next couple of weeks so after that will be able to confirm entry fee's and location so keep an eye out for updates.

hehehe good luck on the Eurobowl. I was gonna turn up to it and be a special member of the team called the Theo Wallcott. Never play a match just turn up watch and pass bottles of water to the important players
