Milo,
I'm waiting for a conversion sprue to get cast by Impact! to do my Warrior up correctly as all my claw versions have been crap.
It might not make it in for the deadline ... but I will honor my commitment to add the figure to the team.
Just make I know the address of the winner and I'll make sure to send him mine directly.
Sorry ... I had high hopes we'd be casting the mutation sprue that Impact! commissions by now. Best laid plans and all.

My pestigor is converted and undercoated. Now to find some time to paint.
Lauth, I like yours. Hope mine works as well.

Ther is more than one mutation on that sprue that I would consider a claw hand.
One has a large spike, and the other is a mouth. |

Beautiful work so far!
Time for me to pick up the brushes again! Should have Bilerot done shortly.
Howlingriffon - for consistency, maybe you should add a little bit of static grass to the base. |

Yup - got that on the "to-do" list when I paint the number on the model
If mine looks even a fifth as good as Eggball's model, I'll have excelled myself - that's some stunning work ![Smile](modules/PNphpBB2/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Thanks for the compliments! I think all the entries rock and am looking forward to seeing the others, especially the really whacked-out conversions with guts all over the place.
So who do we send the figs to? Milo? What's the address? Thanks! |

Eggball,
Absolutely LOVE the skin tone of your rotter! So much so that I am going to "borrow" the idea for my own team that I am doing up. (But they say that imitation is the highest form of flattery!) I will post pics when I have some more done.
The bright pink is such a stark contrast to the putridness of the model, that it really makes it that much more disgusting!
Brilliant! |

Very nice (and repulsive) job, Stout Youngblood!
@Spazzfist: Thanks! I guess the skin on my rotter looks kind of pink in the photos but it's actually pale purple. I used Liche Purple mixed with a bit of Codex Grey (maybe 5:1 or 4:1) and then added layers with increasing amounts of white, until the mix was nearly pure white for the top highlights. The guts are done with pink and grey though. |

Now that you say that I can see that clearly.
Oh well! So my idea is original is what you are saying!
I will post some pics up of the models that I have done when I get around to basing them. Finished the third rotter (of six) tonight. Still have to base them however. (Hmmmm..... now I want to build a custom pitch for this team)!
Maybe I will go with the purplish hues for my pestigor (read - plaguebearer).
But I still have to work on Bilerot! Any ideas for his skin colour? I don;t think he would look good in pinks or purples! |
