I'm fairly new to this game and i was looking through the rule book and saw that the minotaur BG has both throw team-mate and always hungry. why does it have these characteristics if none of the teams he can play for have people that can be thrown?

It continued from the good old days when they could / the starplayer.
In a Chaos pact team they actually can.
Also there are some gobbo star players that can play for Chaos. They might like being thrown ... though NUFFLE may know why Laughing
Besides it looks good Wink having lots of skills, even if you;ll only use them in special occasions

You can always hire your minataur out to another team. Trading players among other coaches is allowed during league play. You just can't trade between teams that you are coaching.

Depends on your league rules. It certainly isn't allowed in our league!

Question you must ask is why you would let someone else use your big guy? I 'borrow' one and....oppps I got him killed. Guess I don't have to face him anymore.

The Chaos Pact team has a really good chance of becoming official in October and it can have Goblins and Minotaurs on the same team.

Also Dave was right if you had a Minotaur on a Chaos team there are Goblin stars that you could throw.

Hehehe exactly! Twisted Evil

I knocked 3 skinks into the stands last night just to make sure they went squish. I hate losing the potential for SPP's, but sometimes it's more important to destroy the other team's speed.

Yeah, damn sinks are far too fast, the little varmits! Especially if they get sprint and sure feet as well... oouch!

By the way, do I remember rules somewhere saying you can only throw a player with 'stunty' and if you have a secret weapon you are not stunty anymore? Not positive, but am sure there was something like that...

And Mino's can play together with Gobbos in Dungeonbowl teams if I'm not mistaken (Amber College...?). And they played in Snotling teams in the previous edition...
