Awesome news Ben !!!!
Still 1 1/2 months to go, but I should be able to get my Flings down to TO for that one. I`ll see if anyone else in my group wants to head down the 401 from Montreal to it.

Good to know Ben, start planning for my team this year - already know what race I want to bring to the tourney.
That reminds me that I still have to book the date for my tourney! Better get on that! |

Sounds like it'll be fun, if I can get the time off work I'll make the trip up. I should know by this time tomorrow. |

Brampton, duh!
EDIT - and you won't be taking any home this year! Remember, I am going to be there! |

Yep...there goes the "Best Painted" category.
On a serious note...I saw your auction for the Rotters too late, but didn't you sell yourself short? I thought those boys also received best painted for the 2006 Genuine Spike Tourney.

Sure yuk it up Chuckles! But I did take the Best Team award at the Deathbowl this year with my Killer Bee halflings! And that was going up against Ben and JTB who had amazingly painted teams. I like this new format of having the conversion and theme counting more for it, as it gives guys like me a chance!
As for the rotters, yes, those were the ones that won the Best Painted award for the Spike! warm up last year (not that there was really any competition there!) I had put the starting bid at $30, luckily no-one bid one them, and so I have not sold them. I was thinking about selling them off individually, as that might be more lucrative for me.
... but you do have a way of hijacking threads don't you Rob?
So who else is coming to the Canadian Open? Like I said, this tourney will be showcasing another new Spazzfist team! Woot woot! Love the tourney scene for inspiring me to paint! |

Don't worry all........Talons is coming to the Canadian Open!!! I will probably be bringing a new team myself as the Ottawa Tourney might be the last hurrah for the Crookback Mountain Cowboys. |
