We'll probably head up early in the week and take a little vacation together in Ottawa checking out the museums and whatnot,

Ottawa is a great place to visit for museums, if you make it up for the thursday night most of them are free too Smile
Museum of civilization is a personal fave (http://www.civilization.ca/visit/indexe.aspx)

And I just couldn't resist snitching Spazzfist's idea of the Mexican wrestlers For a personal touch, I've combined this theme with the hometown high school football team, the Golden Tornados, to create:
Los Tornados Enmascarados

If our two teams face off at the tourney, we'll have to fight for the World Wrestling Association title

Whilst I could never condone the theft of intelectual property, the prospect of this face off is quite marvelous Smile
But surely its the NAFWA, not the WWA.

Joe.....whatever you do, don't make it the week of Oct 19-26. My sister is getting married in the Carribean and I would have to miss the Deathbowl. I already told her to change her wedding date, but that didn't work!!!!! LOL

I've got a better idea, why don't we all go to the carribean with all the boards and teams and stuff and play deathbowl on the beach!!!

But seriously, I have a couple of things which may occur in october too, like maybe my honeymoon, so its still a flexible date....

My honeymoon will be in November most likely, although the wedding is late Sept. So as long as the tourny stays in Oct, i should be okay. The weekends available are running out quickly, better make a decision quick Joe, or this may end up in 2008 ;P If Glen spent half as much time on his mohawk as he did on Blood bowl, he would be 1st in the world ;P (How he does that every day, i will never know).

The thing is he only sets that 'hawk once aweek, that thing is like a rock. Glenn plays way to much Blood Bowl to have time to do his hair everyday.

My first ogre is ready to take the pitch, El Tornado Azul. El Rojo is just waiting for his mask. El Dorado is not far behind. Los Tornados Verde, Violado, y Negro have a bit more work to go, but for now they are enjoying their tight pants Cool

Doing a nice paint job on the Heresy ogres takes awhile. Because of the complex poses, I'm painting each piece in detail before assembly, then after assembly puttying and painting the joints.

For inspiration , I've been watching some DVDs of Lucha Libre matches and Luchadores Enmascarados movies (deepdiscount.com is great!)

Cheers,
Maureen

Sounding good Maureen, can't wait!
We shall get some rules up in the next couple of months. Which will contain a few things which should hopefully get another couple of players to bring the big dudes!

This is the excuse that I need to finish off my "Luchadores". I will get pictures of them up when they are done.

Dude, if you don't make this one, I think the Ottawa boys might start to take it personally! Wink
