| The thing with the dice rolls option is that a coach loses the power to control his own player. To make that even easier, coaches can declare they will only assit on the offensive side, then they can leave the table and go look at other games for a minute. |

My opinion on this topic is with under one month till the tourney should this not be finalized, so we can all figure out our team structure.
Without assists it will change game play and speed it up abit (might make it interesting also), but with prob. 90% of us with exp. in Death Bowl will it really change the speed factor. |

It will be fixed very soon, so we can go back to working on other stuff for the tournament, and you can go back to worring about how many halflings I am going to kill. Joe or Cramy will likely announce something tomorrow or soon there-after.
Seriously, you aren't going to bring halflings to this are you? That just seems cruel, especially with the promotion of Ogres, that could be an interesting massacre. |

Nope.....my Ogre team will be making another apperance in Death Bowl.
Here is a question for you guys....will you be keeping the Year of the_______ for every Death Bowl. Myself I love the little promotions for some of the under-dogs. |

I am sure whatever the rules are it will be fun.
Just give it a try and if we find that certian rules don't make sense or take the fun out of the game then we can make those suggestions for next year.

Thank you Ben, thats my thought. If the majority of the group that participates doesnt like a certain rule after the tournament, we will remove/revise it for the next year.
Taxal: yes, we are hoping to continue this theme idea next year, we already have a team in mind. Teaser hints will be given at the tournament. |

So any word on how many people plan on showing up for this Ogre-fest?
