Tell us more Joe, what is the location like? and more importantly how close is it to the bars?
P.S. I'm gonna win!
Its less than a mile west of Glen's place. Its not in the market, but its near some bars i reckon.
I havent seen it myself Glenn is dead happy about it though.
The trophies are coming along nicely and the dice/prizes have been ordered.
ah, big sigh of relief.
Rules have been reshaped, and assists are back, but turn etiquette is a big thing stll.

You could walk to the Dominion in about 20-25 min from the bronson centre if you had to.
Nice to hear there is a location. Looking forward to a weekend of DeathBowl thats for damn sure! |

The website is up with the registration page,
http://www.rubli.ca/deathbowl/
A few finishing touches need to be added but it does stuff.
The rules are pretty much final.
We will add a payment function soon, and there will be a nifty prize draw for pre payment
As well as a semi decent prize draw for registering

Yes.... crying......
Tears of joy b!tch! The only way that Los Luchadores will be compared to cream is their fantastico ability to rise to the top in each game against the lesser scum!
After my Deathbowl victory, forget French and English as the official languages of Canada! News of the domination of los Luchadores will ring around the nation's capital and people will be clamoring to learn the language of victory which is the Spanish. Parliament will pass a bill in record time declaring October 21st as Los Luchadores Day - a national holiday of celebration, paid vacation and mucho back-breaking. Children will parade in the streets in Mexican wrestling masks, and fireworks displays shall abound. A film shall be made honoring the mighty Luchadores, and their incredible accomplishments and it shall be starring Tito Ortiz as El Asso Wipo.
October 21st shall mark a new day in Canadian history! October 21st will be a day of reckoning for all who oppose me! October 21st shall be a day that belongs to LOS LUCHADORES! |

I wish I wasn't a slow painter and had actually painted the ogres I sold to Dwarfrunner
I'd teach teacher a thing or two about pain

Nah, you would be the odd man out just wishing that you could get into the ring! This way you have removed all temptation!
But still, you are a mere pequeño niño. Leave the bloodshed to the grown-ups!
But one day this tie streak will end Byers....... and I think we all know who the victor will be! ![Twisted Evil](modules/PNphpBB2/images/smiles/icon_twisted.gif) |

On the team registry page there is no Halflings ......
I know they suck, but they still deserve to be a choice, no?

Joe,
Just want to clarify a couple of points here:
1) What exactly is being dfone with the blocking? It sounds like the players will have free choice as to who they are going to assist in the blocks now, is that right?
2) What is being done if two ogre teams have the same star player? That point was never clarified, that I noticed. |

Rod
You thinking of bringing halflings Rod?
I will mention it to our wonderful webmaster Eric.
But if anyone wants to register as a halfling coach, please leave it as to be determined for now
cheers

1) You are correct. The blocking is remaining as it was in DBIV, except the declaration rule that maureen suggested will be in use. I.e. once a block is declared the coaches declare assists in order clockwise from the active player. Just to speed things up.
2) It is mentioned in the rules doc on the website that there is no problem with multiple star players of the same type being on the field on different ogre teams. So no fear about the stars being outed. |
