buy a box of 40k Orks and do the conversions. It's way fun and those models are excellent for it. You get a full 16 players in the box for much less cash than the pewter models. |

Or any of the plastic GW models for that matter. Any of the box sets can give you enough models for the team, and offers lots of conversion opportunities. Not to mention it is the cheapest way to go!

I thought about it a little more, whatever I did I would need "all the fixings". (Ability to roster a whole team.) And I think that im done with plastics, I would rather have a metal team. (Own plastic orks, painted almost 8 years ago.)
Better yet--> Anybody have a metal team they are looking to dump? |

Gotta agree that ebay is the best way. I purchased my first 6 or 7 teams from ebay...
I am not sure how soon I can get my hands on them again, but I have spare Amazon and Wood Elf teams but they are being used by friends at the moment. In fact, I have had offers to offload them already. |

Question for BB culture at large.--> Would a fully modeled pitch be a good trade for a Unpainted Metal BB team with just enough extra peices to be competitve? T/F
(Lets just pretend its a decent pitch with a NAF logo in the center, textured and well flocked. 2' Board) |

Good trade? I'd say - a decent ptich is probably worth more than a full team will all the trimmings. |
