One golden soother is quite enough. Natalie is convinced everyone must hate me!

She seems very perceptive. She figured that out fairly quickly. You're still in denial. Spazz is right though, give you a timer, and everything is cool.

We were playing two minute turns at Ben's the other night - was a lot of fun! Four minutes will seem like forever now!

Yep, after 4 turns you get the hang of it and 15 sec. starts to fell like forever. Best 1¼ hour game I ever played. Better than the 45 minut game I played years ago despite it being the only win I got in the old TBBF Razz

I am so for timers being used in games!!

Looks like Peter "Flanders" Meers will be joining the ranks of the TBBF boys, we are waiting for confirmatikon from him, but it looks like he may be on board. So if you could look at freeing up some carpet space for him, that would be cool.

So with one week to go its looking good for attendance.

We have 15 registered and another 7 fence sitters plus our odd man out Mr Jones.

It is looking good for beating last years attendance of 16 Smile

Prizes are all ready.

Trophies are being engraved as I type

Its all good!

Do you need to know how to spell my name for the Overall Winner's trophy? I mean, c'mon - you know it is mine!

Colin and Leathan will both be there for the tourney. Saw them last weekend and they confirmed it with me.
Be really nice if we can get over the 25 mark.......

Which Talons will still to this day say was a controversial decision! Wink

But my victory will be complete and uncontested! Sweet!

Spazz

P.S. Interesting that "ass" is no longer censored by the site!

As you guys appear to be so active in Ottawa I'll have to see about getting up there for future activities.

I'm glad I found this site.

That would be great Apocrypha always room for more!

You are close to Peter Meers there in Port Hope, he is Coburg. Do you know him or any of the Brampton TBBF bunnies?

Unfortunately I haven't met him.

The only people I know right now in my area who play are from my gaming group.

Though I heard there is a regular league in Oshawa (half an hour from PH and Cob) which I was going to look into.

Ottawa is a bit of a drive, I'm sure you know, but for tournaments and what not it would be worth it.

Tournaments are definitely worth it! A lot of really good guys all around - and then you get the odd mutt like me who seems to spoil it for everyone! Wink

There is a league in Oshawa? Wow, we gotta get some of these guys out and into the tournament scene!

Are you going to be available next weekend? There are a bunch of us heading up, and if we still have room, could perhaps offer you a lift.
