Hi all,
This message is for everyone, but is really only useful to those of you who live in, or around, Canberra in Australia. If this isn't you, thanks for taking the time to read this anyway...
I'm looking to set up a new league for Northside players in Canberra, and I'm looking for players.
The idea is to have a league on the Northside, to run concurrent seasons with the Southern Valley Blood Bowl league on the Southside of Canberra. At the end of each season, the best teams from both leagues will play off in a tournament, to determine the season champions.
If you are already playing in the SVBBL, there is nothing to stop you from playing in this league as well.
The current format for the SVBBL is a fixed roster, with the organiser setting up each round, and providing contact details to each player. Players are responsible for organising their own games, and they have a three week period in which the single game is to be organised and played.
That's one game every three weeks, give or take. Surely there must be some players in Canberra who can play a game once every three weeks for seven or eight rounds?
So far, including myself, I have three coaches interested in playing in this league - I'd like at least three more, if not more.
If you are interested in playing in this league - tentatively called the Northern Wastes League, unless I can come up with something better, please either respond to this message, or pm me.
