Believe me I know! I am very reluctant to do it anywhere else, as that will then involve more cost and a risk of losing more money again (not that running a tournament is a profit-driven endeavour). But I also liked the idea of the creature comforts of home and the ease of being able to run things and not have to transport, etc.
I have to measure out the basement and then look for a place where I can rent tables. Once I have some figures of how many people I can reasonably fit, then I will know for sure what my max number is.
But even once I have all that fiugured out I would ask for people to pre-pay if it looks like my numbers are over, and only once I had a solid financial committment from the majority, would I go ahead with booking the alterrnative space. If I get my max and still have people wanting to sign up on the day (assuming it is at my home), I might have to turn them away...
May sound harsh, but when you are trying to break even on running a tourney, you can't go on people's word that they will be showing up. |

I'm glad Cramy got the the board problem solved..... (I know deep down Spazz you wanted to thank me for asking Cramy to put the program in that every player plays on different boards & should not end up playing on same board more than once, plus all 11 boards should get used on pretty much an equal basis) ..... even though you never thanked me I know you meant it......

I'm thinking of bringing Skaven now instead of Lizzies, (have two rosters designed one of each)

I just sent the updated pitch rules, updated for LRB5 back to Eric (for the pitches) so look for those on the website (whenever Eric has time to getthem on there).
I wll also get him a copy of the excel file with the Star Players when I finish updating the costs, |

| Ok Craig, looks like three from London. Myself, Brad, and Eric are planning on coming down. Its about 90% on Brad and myself, and I'd say 60-70% on Eric. |

Pitch Rules (PDF) are up after alot of reformating and correcting Spazz's corrections.
Tourny rules to eventually follow. Gonna go to bed now that I have ruined my eyes being a line editor. |
