I am currently sitting at 29 people having said that they are coming out for the tourney. Now if history has taught me anything it has taught me that the number of people that say that they are coming out and the number that actually show up are very different.

But more people keep coming out of the woodwork (which is great, don't get me wrong!) But I only have 30 sets of dice and 30 Uulriks to go out. So, in case it should happen that we do have more than thirty people at the tourney, the dice and model will go to those who pre-paid, and the rest will have to be figured out in some reasonable manner (lottery?)

For anyone coming from out of town and looking to stay in a motel, Shadowseer2005 found this one - relatively close and very cheap!

http://www.motel6.com/reservations/motel_detail.aspx?num=1908&NOA=&aYr=&aMo=&aDa=&dYr=&dMo=&dDa=&BTR=/accormaps/M6ProximityResults.aspx

It would only be about 10-15 minutes from there to my place.

EDIT - I found the motel that is closest to my place - iot is the Comfort Inn Meadowvale and you can get it for the following rates:

2 people - $94.99
3 people - $104.99
4 people - $114.99

This one is a five minute drive from my home - if you really have a hard time waking up early!

After two months of not getting a reply, I had just about given up on Andy Hall from GW. But he just got back to me today and said that he will be sending some goodies in the way of prize support. More booty!

Some rules questions.....

If you roll a 6 so everyone gets a +1 STR or +1 AG, can a person forfit it to chose a normal or double skill?

Or a more realistic situation, if a 3 or 4 was rolled (double) can that be decreased to a single choice (1 or 2)

Example a double roll was made after game one & lets say a person had given his Ulfwerner +1 STR & Mighty Blow (he really needs Block) but with the double rolled & Block being a normal upgrade for him can he still take Block?

Also use that same situation for a 5 (+1 MA, or +1 AV) or a 6 (+1 STR or +1 AG)

This may be a stupid question but I figured maybe clarification (sp*?) was needed.

You could always choose to downgrade if you wish, the only thing though would be that you could only downgrade to a normal skill instead of an attribute increase.

EDIT -To be more clear
6 = +AG/ST ( or normal skill)
5 = +MA/AV (or normal skill)
3-4 = Doubles (or normal skill)
1-2 = Normal skill

29 people would be insane. Very Happy Very Happy

And 5 Niagara folks to beat-up on. Yey. Only for the first few games unfortunately, as I plan to be at the top of the rankings after the first couple, where there won't be any Niagara folks in sight. Wink

Counting the sleeps before the big day ...

Well we are sitting at 28 right now, which is more than double the previous year! So yeah, it is looking like it is going to be a good time!

I will just try to take it easy on your guys if I am playing as the odd man out, would kinda be cheesy to win my own tourney!

With 2 weeks left you should have enough time to put this logo on the trophy so that is is personalized for the Champion. Very Happy
