Post subject: FABBL Summer Season heating up

summer season is starting SUNDAY June 8th
The GW store in Santa Anita is hosting our start event
it will be
1 mil gp
you start with 5FF at no cost (ff is not part of your team value so WRITE it on your sheet if you are using a computer team generator)
you MUST start with at least 11 players
the event will be a NAF (www.bloodbowl.net) open for those NAF members wishing to earn points (if you are not a NAF member and wish to join NAF the fee is $10 a year see the list website for details)
You will earn spps for this event, the up side is all damaged players will be able to play the next game and dead players will be regenrated (negative effects like -1AV still apply)
the GW guys will roll your MVP and any ref or apoth rolls
the games start at 11am so be there at around 10:30-10:45 to get set up

there is NO FEE for the tourney or the league
Rules for Summer League:
you must play at least 1 game to qualify for the playoffs
you must endeavor to play each member once (I know that may not be possible to get everyone but please try)
you may play any opponent as many times as you would like
your opponent rolls your MVP
IF you carry a spring or winter team you need a "rookie" stand in team for the NAF tourney on the 8th
Summer league will in August (exact schedule will be posted on the group site)
Try to bring in a friend to join the group and play
Games can be held anywhere
Game Empire, GW Sanata Anita, and GW Glendale have agreed to allow us to play there
We will also have FRIDAY night at Dennis every 2 weeks for those who wish to attend (blood bowl, air conditioning and beer, ahh life is good)
It is YOUR responsibility to update your team info on the group database for the benefit for everyone else please try to do so soon after your game.
Switching teams mid season: You may switch teams mid season but your record resets to 0/0/0 and starts as a "rookie 1mil" with 5 FF. You may not switch to a veteran team from previous seasons.
points are
3 = win
1 = tie
0 = loss
record displays as W/T/L
if you gain more than 2 td's in a single game + 1 pt (yes that is 3 or more)
if you have more than 2 cas in a single game + 1 pt (yes that is 3 or more)
max points achieved for 1 game is 5pts
bounty:
you may bounty any player on any team, the money for the bounty goes into the league bank and is removed from your roster for ever. A player must suffer a 6x on the cas roll to award the bounty.
