Y'know the more appropriate punishment for a Little Pup is to smack his nose with a newspaper!
Some has to ask I guess I'll take the burden on, but Adam Spazz what's with you two & Puppy talk?
Is there some kind of Puppy Love between you two?
Maybe you two just like it Doggy or Puppy Style?
Was a Kinship formed between you in a Kennel?
Maybe you two just like to Pound in the Pound?
Whatever it may be I think its best you two keep it in the Dog House (or in your case Puppy House)

Disturbing news, I had a dream.........
Eric finnished the Dagger Bowl with a trouphy that wasn't a wooden spoon or a sportsmanship award. In my dream Eric placed 3rd....
I'm just not sure whats more disturbing?....
1) Eric finnishes 3rd.....
2)Eric placed higher than me....
3)I had a dream about Eric.....

I see you are conceding that there is no chance of you finishing above 4th then.
It is good when you have your expectation under control |

Hey Spazz, tourney went down like this:
Rod finished in first with a 3-1 record, but was almost trumped by Eric with a one turner by the halflings on the last turn. Mike Olsen, Joe, and Myself all finished with 2-1-1 records, Joe and Myself tied on everything (TD & Cas +/-) and all other tie breakers. Don't know exactly what Mike's stats were but I think we both had more td's and casualties. Eric and Marc-Andre were tied for the SPOON Feeding but I don't know tie breakers for them. Was good times though. Need a few more people next time but overall it's all about getting some gaming in. Anyhow, next week should be fun also. Glenn, Joe, and myself will be there for sure tryin' to get at least one more but departure time may be an issue, will see how the week play's out.
Take it easy,
Adam |

Thanks To Mark for a fun Tourney, it was fun to basically play a game with the basics again. Thanks Mark for opening up your home to us, although the turnout of 6 was small, it was a great crowd.
I played Skaven.
My game recap was as follows.
1) vs Adam J. (Dwarves) , I won 3-1 (won Cas 2-0)
2) vs Mike O. (Norse) , I won 2-0 (tied Cas 2-2)
3) vs Joe B. (Chaos Dwarves) , I lost 1-2 (lost Cas 1-4)
4) vs Eric R. (Halfling) , I won 2-1 (won Cas 1-0)
So a 3-0-1 record & a very tight standing, but alas I won the tourney.
I think the overall standings were
W-T-L
1)Rod D. 3-0-1
2)Mike O. 2-1-1
3)Joe B. 2-1-1
4)Adam J. 2-1-1
5)Marc-Andre 0-2-2
6)Eric R. 0-1-3
A very fun time by all, & I hope more attend next year....
Thanks too all that attended.

Yep, was lots of fun. Can't wait for the next tourney. May bring Gobbos again. Even with the not so great record, it was a blast. Decimating Mike's team with my Ball&Chain and Chainsaw was lots of fun. |

Seriously though Rod, congrats on the win! Sorry that I was not able to make it out. |

I'm puzzled as to why it says Joe lost to Mark 8-0 & Mark never even played..... |

Thanks to all for coming out, hope everyone had as fun a time playing as I did running. All in all, it went the way I would expect, and the teams were pretty equal, even the halfling and goblin teams were in the mix pretty well. Maybe some minor tweaking to the rules (mostly tie-breaker stuff), and a more stringent review of team rosters before the games start (ahem..... jrock56). But all in all, a pretty easy tourney to run.
Thanks to Rod and Eric for driving down, my pleasure to let you crash at my place. The 5am soccer tounrey was a little much, the 3am tourney the next night wasn't much better. Rod's ramblings were pretty entertaining, a little confusing at times, but still entertaining none the less.
Wish I had played, but watching was just as fun. Rod had the standings listed above are correct, Eggball slipped into 2nd with some solid play and a bonus sportsmanship point, so congrats there.
Shhh, Joe was not supposed to know, HAHA, it was actually a test input since I had never done it before. But I hit a weird glitch and I can't erase it now. I asked NAF to fix it.
Anyways, see you all at the Lakeside likely, since I won't be able to make the Bongo.

That dirty Daggers, trying to buff his stats by faking results, tsk tsk!
Cheers for hosting mate. It was a blast, especially the pre tournament Fifa competition
Chaos Dwarfs are a lot better than I gave them credit for. I can take some joy from having beaten the winner Rod, who managed to get me to drink a beer, which is quite the thing. |
