Well with Sandgroper 2 coming up in Perth in may I thought I better paint a new team
The Stumpy Stompers.
Numbering and basing to be done when I have finished the team. |

Everyone with orange hair is just too boring! I was much more pleased with the result on the blond one than the red head.
I am probably about halfway through the team now. Looking forward to the Sandgrouper2 Cup.

Thats it for regular players. All I have left to paint is a death roller then to do some basing. |

Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it in the end. Luckilly blood bowl is the new craze in town at the moment so I am getting a lot of games in. |

Luckily Blood Bowl is proving Easy to convince people to play. You only need 12 or so models making it perfect for our friday night gaming sessions (getting home from work and trying to get a whole army ready is too much work).
I wanted to expand the team out to 16 players. Disappointingly it seems to be impossible to buy individual blood bowl players and no one seems to make anything that would be suitable for proxying the coaching staff.
Thus I decided to hack up a whole bunch of Battle for sculls pass dwarves to make the extra players and coaching staff.
Missing from the picture is one of the cheerleaders who has one of those massive foam superbowl pointing hands on and a big wooden sign. |

Good looking team! Sometimes conversions are the easiest (or only) way to get a model now-a-days.
Though there was a link not that long ago on here that lead to an online store that sold single figures (http://www.bbfigs.com) though they don't yet have the Dwarf team up yet. |

Yup the conversions proved to be fun anyway.
Here is the final cheerleader that I missed in the last lot of pictures.
