I was playing a buddy of mine this weekend with my Nurgle team & he was saying that i was using the Disturbing Presence incorrectly. In LRB 5 it says with in 3 squares the suffer a negative. He was saying that it all depends on the angles while i say the warriors have 3 box radius that surrounds them. The last thing is does it affect my team also?
I would appreciate the help. |

Either he meant that 3 squares horizontally/vertically is affected but 3 squares diagonally isn't because it's further away, in which case he's wrong, or else he meant something to do with passing angles and the ball flying over those 49 squares, in which case he's also wrong, as DP doesn't affect the ball, just the pass, catch and intercept attempts.
So... he's wrong. |

easiest way to figure out DP
use the throw template over the DP toward the thrower,/catcher/ inceptor if the guy is inside the Quick pass range he in under the influence of DP. the square must inside the line just as in passing (not half the square)
DP is commutative so if you have more than one guy, measure them all and add up the modifiers |

use the throw template...
Pretty sure that that's not the easiest way. That's just going to confuse the issue, since it works on actual distance (which is wrong) instead of number of squares (which is right), and is thus going to cause more arguments. The easiest way is to count the number of squares from the DPer to the potentially-affected opposition player. |

Absolutely. No range ruler here. It is the number of squares that count. |

Besides if you use the range ruler, someone may try to intercept the uglies! |
