It's his first skill. The other one's got Mighty Blow.
So, Claws or Horns? Any other suggestion?
I must add that the double was 5-5, do I go the MA or AV route?

Dodge would be great, get Guard next.
But I'd go for the +MA or +AV (with a slight prefrence for the MA).
Claw is nice but it forces your next skill to be Mighty Blow en then either Tackle or Piling on. The other Vermin needs to go with Guard next then. I think it depends a bit, if you like to gamble or already have some guard on linerats (on doubles) take the Claw. If you like a more conservative and balanced team then Dodge or the Stat increase are the way to go.
In a short league I'd definately pass up on the claw as well since you'll still need Mighty Blow to really start doing some damage. |

THE SV already have a mv7av8 so you should not even consider the 10 being in the thought process
CLAWS
you need to crack the tough guys and an 8 is just slightly above average on 2d6
if you roll a second doubles that is not a 12 then horns
then get pilling on , and if he gets enough cas/TD's Mighty blow |

Not Horns, anyway. Horns is good on a linerat, as the two skills that best complement it (Block and Frenzy) are G.
I suppose you could put it on a Blitzer with Juggernaut and Frenzy.. good for clearing a path for the runners.. |

It depends... what do you want to do with him. If he's the primary blitzer (which is sort of implied) then Claw is good so long as your main competition isn't Av7! That does encourage you down the mighty blow/frenzy/tackle/piling on route - but hey its a great player.
Since its 5,5 you've the option of Av9. Which could be nice eventually - Av9, Guard, Stand Firm - gives you something tougher and more resilient than the rest.
Dodge would be another decent option.
I think, all other things being equal, claw is the best choice. |
