I have a fully painted and named Skaven team (looks nice too)they are numbered and everything
I have had 4 out of 7 games that have been beyond belief this season
I am looking to turn my season around
example:
last night in 3 turns my thrower has thrown 5 ones and 1 two; in 4 games he has thrown 31 ones and a 2 (he has made a few passes here and there)
my gutter runners cannot dodge on a 2+ with dodge skill (I have failed most of my dodge rolls)
my stormvermin cannot break the armor 7 with mighty blow (mvp and a cas of one of my other games)
I have given up 18 points to 3 in 4 games and casualty ratio is 4:27
any suggestion on rituals/idols/totems to change my luck |

In Spanish we call "rata", which means rat, to a niggardly person (informal language). So we would say you need to praise the "Dios de la Rata" (Rat God) by not spending too much money: forget about having dinner in restaurants, bidding for metallic miniatures, buying new clothes, etc.
this is a common joke among my friends, specially in the current economic situation , when we take the cheapest option wherever we are: Go praise the Rat God!
I'm afraid this joke has little sense in English, where "rat" is used for traitors or scoundrels...

My friend had a similar problem with his Thrower always rolling snake eyes, he went and got another Model and things improved for him. |

I have a few suggestions
1)Sacrafice a virgin. If you are hard pressed to find one, you may look around the local GW and find some spotty teens there.
2) Pray - to whatever deity you believe in. That way if it goes well, you know that your god is happy with you, if not, then you need to appease your god (see #1)
3) threaten your models. Sure, they are inanimate onjects, but I find that a few well chosen threats can work wonders on them anyways
4) Try rubbing the dice beteween your hands. Warm dice roll better. It's been scientifically proven.
Hope this helps. |

The rules for dice cleansing in the Hackmaster Players guide are very effective.

The last line is interesting. I think 27 casualties on skaven is a lot. Is this the root cause of your problem? Are you trying to fight the opposition? Getting players down and then suffering? If so you may be attacking/fighting too much and need to employ different tactics as well as dice. |

Yes, that may be it. I have seen many coaches try skaven when the are used to playing bashy teams, and they end-up getting beaten to a pulp. You cannot engage in an all-out fight with the opponent. I block very little with my Skaven. I don't always blitz either. Stay away from the opposition.
And yes, 27 CAS in 4 games is a lot, even if you get into fights. Maybe your opponent's dice need be be fixed. |

yep, when playing skaven or woodies; stay away!
my latest woodies team name is a good reminder for this; Y.C.H.A.W.O.O.B.
stands for; You Can't Hit All With Only One Blitz
and don't forget that dodge is your god |

problem is I cannot dodge with a re-roll to save my life so the first turn 4 guys eat it and then 1 guy every turn after that not to mention the guys I throw out there to get the ball. We will see if Sunday brings any changes about ...... |

Not sure what you meant in your last post loonie, but make sure that if you dodge out of TZs, do it at the end of your turn. And never use a reroll on those dodges (unless you have as many rerolls as turns left to play in the half). You want to keep those rerolls for when you have to get to the ball. |

I always put my dice on training camp when I am not using them. That means putting them to show 6´s soo they remember show the correct side up.
