When i do resin casting i like to make molds of scenic bases that are basically used for when i mix too much resin and dont want to waste it.
Because im madly into blood bowl right now i want to do some bloodbowl scenic bases, but ive no idea what to put on them. I might as well do some as im gonna make a mold of a treasure chest and teleporter ive sculpted for dungeonbowl, and want them on the same mold.
basically suggestions please |

Bones, skulls, general litter (such as thrown in cans, bottles, paper), trashed balls, armor pieces, mole holes, small critters (snakes, squirrels, nurglings), broken secret weapons, body parts, referee parts, ripped clothes, shoes........ enought? I would gladly buy some bases if the price is reasoable. I have 4 full teams. 16-22 models in each (16 players + coaches, fans etc)

Can't go wrong with cracked astrogranite. I just take plastic slottas and carve the cracks in them with an XActo. For Big guy bases, I like to carve a 29mm square with the lines sticking out to the edge of the base so that it's easy to line up centered in the occupied square on the pitch if needed to line up a pass template. |

How about a grass field including matted lines to represent the grid...this whouls actually be pretty easy.
Or, for people who play Chaos Dwarfs, I have seen a few folks make their bases where the ground is broken and shows lava flowinh in the cracks.
Just some random thoughts.

P.S. Maybe lillypads for the Slann? |
