I don't do it every time, but if the dice seem to be rolling too many low numbers I will fire them and take journeyman dice. |

So does anyone have a way to change a streak of bad luck? Any rituals or good luck charms? (I kid you not, when I was weeding my front lawn this morning, I was keeping an eye out for four leaf clovers!) |

My good luck ritual:
When the dice are "idle," I put them on pows and 6s. |

A friend of mine purges his dice of evil by immersing them in Jack Daniels. |

...you change dice every time they roll a skull or 1 - Not Guilty
....you won't say "anything but a one", because that just invites bad luck - Guilty
....when you have to dodge on the first square of an AG4 player's move - you won't count the first square out loud. Saying one will invite the dice to roll it! - Not Guilty
....you think that when you accidentally knock down a player right before moving them, that it is a bad omen - Not Guilty
....you think colored six-siders should match the team's uniforms you are playing with - Guilty
....you think certain colored NAF roll better with certain teams - Don't have any yet. Can't wait though.
....you think, if someone touches your dice other then you is extremely bad luck and will switch out the entire brick of dice - Guilty
....you think rolling in a dice box or dice rolling area bad luck, you would rather roll them on the pitch - Guilty
....you think rolling the very very important dice rolls on your opponent's side of the Line of Scrimmage -Doesn't matter
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>new ones<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
...When your coach is ejected for failing to argue the call you turn him around to face away from the pitch- Guilty
...When one of your players suffers a serious injury you avoid placing him on the coffin in the dead and injured box so you don't inspire more casualties- Guilty |

My dice have to be "wearing" the same colors as the team or they won't play well with them. Also they have to sleep in the same case. I'm also thinking of storing them with the sixes all pointed up so the molecules in the dice will eventually align with the earths magnetic field to tip the probability factors slightly towards sixes. But not really superstitious though is it. That's just science. |

I forgot one.
I actually did this one season.
I had my Purple-ish/ Pink NAF dice in a little pouch I kept with me at all times, except sleeping with my wife and taking a shower.
Did it help, NOPE!!! |
