This is a slann team that I am putting together using Eureka! miniatures "warrior frogs". I have done some minor converting on the models to make them suitable for BB, and am painting them to show their positions (red = blitzers, yellow = catchers, green = linemen)
Sorry about the poor quality of the pics, photographer I am not!
I have ordered one of those giant "Horned Toad" figs from Rolljordan. I am breaking with tradition on buying metal figs because I love these so much.
I know that the "cartoony" look of the frogs is not for everyone, but I likes 'em! |

They look good! A slann team might as well be cartoony, because they aren't very threatening anyway. |

Have you played against Slann? I would have to disagree with you on that one! |

I haven't played against Slann; I've only seen the team list, and it doesn't seem very daunting. They're expensive & fragile, so what makes them dangerous? I want to like them... |

You had dignity?
But seriously, I know of only one person who has a Slann team and he does quite well. Those are some cute little minis though. Nicely done. |

Very cool looking minis!
They probably arent the easiest team to coach succefully, I'll agree on that.
Dont "frog-et" to post us when you have more pics of the team!
Cheers

Thread Necromancy I know but....
I've just bumped into these (again) and wondered if Spazzfist would care to add some new pics from the team!
Despite the alternatives out there, these are still some of my favourite mini choices for slann teams.
Cartooney and all!

Thanks Axtklinge for showing such an interest in the team! Here are some pics of how they stand now.
The whole team:
The Catchers:
The Blitzers:
The line-frogs:
The "Frog-xigor"
Secret weapon/turn marker/coach
The mallet frog is actually a worm purple, but it is not showing well in the pics. |
