When, before a league match, you take your freeboters [first thingh to do before the start of a match, says the Living Rulebook...], you pay them immediately? And, the freeboter, count as a member of the staff for the match?
For example, I hire a wizard.... it costs me 50.000 gp... this influences my team rating? That's important for the rolls on the handicap table.
It happened already twice in my league that taking the money out of the treasury, but without counting the price of the wizard in it, that would have meant the possibility to take another Handicap roll....
Thanks for the help ![Very Happy](modules/PNphpBB2/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

The wizard still has a value of 50,000 gps; equal to its cost, so freebooting a wizard would not influence TR in any way. I'm not completely sure about freebooting players, but I think it doesn't influence TR either.

Treasury is counted towards Team Rating, so the addition of the Freebooter to your team is offset by the reduction in your treasury. There is no change to the Team Rating.
Using your example, you hire the wizard for 50,000gps - team rating goes down 5 points as a result of the dip in treasury, but then goes up 5 points for the addition of the wizard for the game.
Hope that helps. ![Smile](modules/PNphpBB2/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

You calculate TR during one phase of the game - the post-game phase. You don't ever adjust it for any reason (other than a calculation error) at any other time.

TR is calculated after a match so irrespective of what you do before your next match it is the value previously calculated that stands
EDIT: lol damn my "non-refreshing" browser. Just a little too late... |
