Hi guys!
Just want to make sure I'm getting the petty cash rule right.
Team A (TV 200) faces Team B (TV 210) in our league's quarter-finals. Right now, A gets 100 K worth of Inducements. We're all clear on that.
B treasury is empty. A has 280 K.
If A takes $280 K and puts it in petty cash, its TV goes up to 228, right? meaning that B now has 180 K worth of inducements to spend?
Team A can do what it wants with its 280 K (buy a star player, a babe, a wizard, etc.), and the previously-known-as-the-overdog B now gets 180 K of Inducements.
Is this clear? Do I get it correctly?

Sorry I don't get why Team A (TV 200) should get 100 K instead of 10 K when facing Team B in your first line example.
Don't you get the difference as inducements? (which would be 10K?) |

It's 10 K inducement for each point of TV difference. |

Sorry I'm puzzled.
The CRAP states on page 28: "The amount of gold the team receives is equal to the difference between total value of the underdog team and the total value of the opposing team.
The difference between a team that is worth 200 K and a team that is worth 210 K is 10 K to the best of my knowledge.
What is a "point" of TV difference? |

A TV200 team is 2,000,000, not 200K.
It's a hold over from the old TR rules, where a team's TR was calculted by it's value divided by 10,000. Most old time coaches just got used to talking about teams in the TR100-300 range, and it's just a convention that's carried on with TV. |

Just to clarify for myself. Petty Cash counts towards your TV before it is used to buy inducements?
Thx |

Yes, this is why when you're the overdog, you have to know that using some gives more inducement money to your opponent.
