Unfortunately, not yet. I am hoping to continue to have the CO in the GTA area but since I no longer live in the vacinity I am having difficulty securing a site. Still working on it though.

P.S. any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Chris Engler has suggested MeepleMart to me. I can look into that if you like.

I am also friends witht he guy who owns Xplanet games which is more local and has lots of room.

Have you thought of speaking to Wayne from Dueling Grounds? It's right on transit in Toronto and the space downstairs is pretty big.

Will do - Smokingmonkee is also onto something. I also happen to be friends with Wayne, and as some may remember, Qermitt I was held at the Dueling Grounds! (in it's old location - the new one is much more spacious).

Okay, a Blood bowl 'newbie' here wondering the following;

1) when, how much and how do I register
2) will I need 'official' minis and do they need to be painted
3) does spraypainting them all one colour count?

Much appreciated,
Ratenef Scrillion

as far as painting goes....

as a tourney organiser all I care about is that the numbers & rings are painted the positional colours. (red=blitzers, green=blockers, yellow=catchers, white=throwers, grey=linemen)

as far as minis go....

Just make sure they are pretty reconisable to what they are supposed to be. (like don't do this "Ok my 4 human catchers are the 2 mummy's, the black orc & the dwarf troll slayer.")

We have our regular league nights at Dueling Grounds (and our historical games club too) and there will be more than enough room for a BB tourney there. In fact I am sure a good chunk of our league would show up for it.

Hey Ratenef, welcome.

1) March 19/20 tourney usually begins at 9am (registration 8am-9am), price is usually between 20-40 dollars, once Eric has the site up you will be able to pre-register as well.
2) 'official' minis aren't necessary but other players must be able to distinguish your positional players from one another clearly. Painting isn't mandatory but some tournies give out additional points for teams that are numbered, painted, based, etc.
3) You can spray paint if you want but it may be difficult to tell them apart during the tourney and it is always at the discretion of the tourney organiser.

Hope this helps some
