Ok last year the warpstone token rules were ....
a Warpstone token can be used one of 3 ways.
1) as a RR, roll a d6 if the roll is a 5+ you may use the RR, if the roll is a 2-4 nothing happens & the warpstone token is wasted, & a 1 roll on the injury table for that player (as if he were hit by "throw a rock result") a failed RR attempt will count as Your Team RR for that turn, so only should be usesd this way if you are out of RR's.
2) as a smelling salt for one player, (treat as 1 bloodweisor babe for one player only , not all players) may be combined with one bloodweiser babe, but not two.
but when making the roll if the roll is a 1 before any modifers place the player in the dead & inj. box. (no matter the result, discard after one roll)
3) Bribe Ref. if a secret weapon or fouling player is sent off you may use this as a bribe. roll a d6, on a 4+ the bribe is a success, 1-3 the call stands. (but if the roll was a 1 or a 6 the result stands as stated above, but the Ref is a lil preocupied to with the warpstone to call anymore fouls or secret weapons for the remainder of this drive.
You gained a token if before ech game you rolled a 13 on a 3d6 roll (skaven & underworld could get it on any triples as well) but once used it was gone, & if not used it was wasted.
The main feedback I got from it, was it was so hard to get, & if you did get it it was practicly useless.
So I have a few ideas to improve it. |

Last year....
Ok to change this, make the RR 4+ instead of a 5+ (2-3 nothing happens) & a 1 roll on injury table same as before.
Last year...
Ok with the new idea you will be able to keep tokens from game to game, so its possible to have more than one token at any time. So you could add 2 tokens to a single KO roll (for a 2+ roll) but on a 1 the player still goes to dead & injured box.
Last Year....
No Change.
New to this Year....
4) Warpstone Roulette!
Chose a player on your team to consume Warpstone Token then roll 2D6 if the result is a double, Role a D16 & apply result. (if the 2D6 roll was higher than players AV place player in KO box as he overdosed on token, if the result was a double and was higher than AV ignore double & place in KO box)
1: Big Hand
2: Blood Lust
3: Bone Head
4: Claw
5: Disturbing Pr.
6: Extra Arms
7: Foul App.
8: Horns
9: Hypnotic Gaze
10: Prehensile Tail
11: Regeneration
12: Tentacles
13: CHOSE!
14: Two Heads
15: Very Long Legs
16: Wild Animal
(if the result rolled, the player already has (Beastman roles Horns) then the role is wasted) The effect lasts untill end of the game.
***if player gains Blood Lust & there is no Thralls on roster, just treat the 0-16 players on your team as Thralls***
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once a Warpstone token is gained you get it for rest of tourney with either team, but still can only be used once per game.
there will only be 13 Warpstone Tokens available so once they are all gone thats it. But its possible for a coach to claim up to 6 tokens.
Please let me know does this improve it? |

I like the Wapstone roulette idea - I would definitely go that route if I got a token!
I think the change is good - the tokens are hard to get, and were pretty useless. I understand that you do nmot want them to be game changers, but they should have SOME useful effect! |

indeed.
Keeping the negatif trait is good though, so it's real "roulette" |

The teacher in me cannot help myself.....
You might want to replace #13 with the present tense "CHOOSE"
Just saying.. |

yea, the mutations are awesome - who wouldn't want them, i see the point of having nega-traits, to make it a gamble.
but thick skull doesn't really fit anywhere.. it's no nega trait but it's hardly as valuable as a mutation (generalizing here but you get what i mean)
make the results either awesome or shitty - no middle ground |
