Casualty Rules
Only casualties caused by blocks/crowd/fouling will count. Failed dodge/gfi/landing do not count.
Race Rules changes:
All stunty teams(Ogres, gobbos, flings, lizzies minus saurus and underworld minus skaven) will receive 1 free bribe. All three expansion teams are allowed.
Team Builds
1 mil team build (players, rerolls, fanfactor, all inducements allowed) Let me know ahead of time if you plan on using cards so I can have them available. Your card will change after each round that it is used.
After team is made:
Before round 1: Add 80k to the team
Before round 2: Add 80k
Before round 3: Add 80k
Before round 4: Add 80k
This money can be anything that could normally be bought(players/rerolls/inducements/coaches/ff/cheerleaders/apo) and upgrades may be purchased for players as well. No player may recieve more than one upgrade per round(you could have 4 on one player by round 4, but not on round 1). Money may be "banked" from round to round. No player may recieve more than two of the same stat upgrade. Rerolls bought after initial team build do not cost double. Each player will add this 80k to their roster before each round. It is up to the opposing coach to check his opponents additions to ensure that they are corrent and meet the set rules for the current round, and from previous rounds. If there are any questions/problems, then bring them to the TO for review.
Note: You may bank the money from one round to the next. So, you could save all your money from the first round and use the 80k from the next round to buy a 160k star that will remain on the roster for the rest of the tourney. You will just be handicapped on the first round and there will be no inducements added if there is a Team Rating differential due to banking money. You may not bank any money from the original 1mil roster construction. You must start with a rulebook legal roster including 11 players. This could include star players.
New skill 20k
Skill available on double 30k
+MV, +AV 30k
+AG 40k
+ST 50k
Special Effects:
Detroit Industrial Sludge: Before each game, you will roll up a random player on your opponents roster that will then be given a random mutation. If the random player could already take a mutation as a non-doubles skill choice(Chaos Pact, Chaos, Nurgle, Underworld), then the coach of that player may pick the mutation. If the random player already has the random mutation, then roll a new random mutation(example: Snow Troll can't have a second claw, slann can't have long legs twice) These mutations will be removed after each game and rerolled with your opponent before the next game. After selecting the random player, then roll 2d6 on this table:
2 Very Long Legs
3 Disturbing Presence
4 Two heads
5 Tentacles
6 Extra Arms
7 Claw
8 Big Hand
9 Horns
10 Prehensile Tale
11 Foul Appearance
12 Regeneration
Other Stuff:
Apo will work normally as per the standard ruleset other than it may also be used on crowd casualties.
Illegal Procedure
In the spirit of good fun, NO illegal procedures will be called.
Tie Breakers (if needed)
Ties broken in the following order, 1) Winning %, 2) Head to Head record, 3) Net TDs plus Net CAS, 4) Total TDs plus Total CAS, if still tied -- TO will roll off.
Awards
Awards to be given out:
1st / 2nd / 3rd place
Most Cas
Most TDs
Best Defense
Wooden Spoon
Lagacy Trophy
Spazzfist should be bringing back the legacy board. This will be given to the winner of Orctoberfest 2011. It is expected that the new winning coach will keep this pitch for one year and return it at the next Orctoberfest(or mail it/have someone else bring it back). They will be honor bound to use the pitch in tourney games/league games throughout the year to promote Orctoberfest for years to come. When returned, I will have a placard ready to affix to the the pitch with the Caoches name/team name/year and it will be passed to the new champion. The top table game in round 4 of the tourney will be played on the legacy pitch. If, for unforseen reason's, Orctoberfest does not take place for a year, the Trophy will be returned to the TO for future tourney use after the one year time span. If the coach does not abide by these rules, he will be cursed by nuffle to forever roll ones.
Additional Tourney Info:
Post questions here in this thread. Rules will be updated as needed.

Just FYI, unlike some canadian tournies....we stick pretty tight to the schedule
So, if you plan other things into the trip, you shouldn't be running late due to the tourney. |

It's my tourney, so, I shouldn't have to run into some damn frenchie the last round
Also, at most i'll be playing 2 of the 4 rounds. Falcon and I will be splitting odd man out. So, unless you get your arse kicked you won't likely play me |

Nurgles Rot is removed and replaced by regeneration. I needed one more mutation to make the table work. Regen isn't a mutation, but it fits better. |

I'd be disappointed about the date change, but there's still plenty of time for you to change it at least once more. |

Here's the place that we'll likely be getting one or more of the prizes at:
http://www.steins.com/CTGY/eng.html
This one is in the running for the first place mug IMO:
Please give some opinions. Take a look at the steins/mugs on the link above. I'm sticking to the ones on that page since they are engravable. |
