I think he had Laurent read the rules to him. |

I'm fine with it, just with time constraints per turn and having any newbie players may cause a little confusion with them. Like I said though, any new pitch could cause this initially until people are accustomed to the differences it brings. More so if people are just getting a grasp of the regular rules, or those that have never played on custom pitches prior best to keep it simple is all. |

There will be the Blockhead awards like last year. But do not be flattering yourself Laurent, nobody said that we were going to make one of YOU!
Seriously, the trophies are underway, the tourney swag is underway and everything is moving along well! Should be an excellent tourney!
Now if I coul djust start to see some of this Smack Talk so that I can declare a winner of the coveted award! |

Just so everyone is 100% clear on this:
The Challenge of Q'ermitt VII will be a FIVE game tournament - playing 3 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. |

So everyone is clear?? First I've heard of this...is this to be the more common trend starting? (5 games instead of the usual 6 game tournies) I know Eric started this last year for the Can. Open with 5 games, makes for an earlier Saturday and more socializing time but less gaming. I myself have mixed feelings about it but you may have several other reasons involved for changing it that I'm unaware. |

This was discussed at the end of the Q'ermitt last year. Especially with a league style format, there is more reasin to reduce the number of games doe to the bookeeping. That, and the fact that the Stunty Cup is to be run on the Saturday night, it means that more than any other tourney it is necessary to have a five game fomat. |

Don't blame me! Blame Jesus! It was Easter that messed up the schedule this year!
EDIT - Zombie? Are you there? You want to comment on this one? |

Here is another Star Player for your consideration:
Xtreme kindly sent me a copy of the model that was for his tournament and the Star Player card that went with it. If anyone is interested "Zlurpus Zembashski". I do have the model to represent him if anyone needs it.

Yeah... if only there were a way to know, in advance, when Easter was taking place. I heard some guys talking about this cool new invention called a "kal-en-dur" that tells you what days holidays fall on but, until I see one with my own eyes, I'm remaining skeptical. |

Spazz, I just want to check something. It is not entirely clear in the rules, but since a pre-purchased star player is taking up a positional slot on your team, does that mean we can purchase as many Star Players as possible as long as they meet to positional requirements. Or does the two Star Player rule still apply to pre-purchased star players? |
