Well, after posting the League map, I also think that to have an updated map to easy locate tournaments will also help. You could better figure out where a tournament is located than in the regular list.
Take it as an extra resource to promote knowledge between us.
EUROPEAN TOURNAMENT MAP
To list a tournament is quite easy also:
1- Just click on EDIT option.
2- Right click on the suitable place
3- Select add location
4- Mark with appropriate symbol (top right in the opening window allow you to select the mark)
5- Name the mark with the tournament name
6- Fill with some extra info:
- Date (approx. just type the month when it usually is runned)
- Places (also approx)
- Some extra info (TR, skills, meals...)
- Who is the organizer (league/group/person)
- website or forum of the tourney (if there isn't, contact e-mail)
Green mark: Open Two day tournament
Blue mark: Open One day tournament
Red Mark: Invitational tournament
Again, I would thank some feedback about the interest of this. |

Probably. I saw this for NA as well. But I think here (European subforum) is a good place to have an European one. Isn't it? |

I like this one more because it has got more detail.
The one from pug has arrows from the side pointing to the country.
If I, see that a tournament in France is at the north side of the country I could be tempted to go. |

I think this is a good idea - using google maps so anyone can add tournaments etc should make it much better than anything one person maintains - its also a lot more precise with location. |

The only problem I could figure out is to maintain it updated.
Hope people that organize tournaments will remove marks if the tourney is no longer organized... |

I would love to have this info here in NAF website also. And it is such a big step forward if we could add all french tournaments.
Maybe I could help you to point them in the map, or there are less enough to do it yourself? |

Probably me screwing it up, but I added the ARBBL Open, put the title in the title box, and added some text. It's taken the details, but changed the name to "9 placeholder"?
[Edit] Ignore that - logged out and logged back in, and it seems to be working now. |
