Game 1 lost 2-1 to Norse (cas lost 4-3)
Game 2 won 2-1 to Norse (cas lost 6-1)
Game 3 won 3-0 to Norse (cas won 2-1)
The good news there are no more Norse teams left.
Game 4 Sunday vs Vampires.
Has been a fun day so far, great group of guys!
There was only 2 Vampire teams there, day 2 ....
Game 4 lost 2-0 to Vampire (cas lost 2-0)
Game 5 won 2-1 to Vampire (cas won 2-1)
very odd racial matchups for my rats to say the least, lol |

Forgot to tell you: You might want to put Dodge on your rat ogre next time, instead of Block! |

Great tournament !
Thanks to Alex for his help, to Peter_Meers for driving us around, to everybody that showed up (especially from far - the Ottawa crew), to Goblin Forge and Duelling Grounds for their sponsorship, thanks to Tristan for having us saturday night, and Eric for his inspiring presence !
The Beverage sale helped balancing the tournament, so thanks to the pop drinker !
Any feedback appreciated (trophies, goodies, venue, price, etc...)
See you soon at the Qermitt, but not with ogres |

I forgot, thanks to Adam for giving some substance to the Premature award
And congrats to Alex second place with Vampires
Here is a recap of his path:
Game 1: he's loosing against Craig (Khemris).
Game 2: Rebound game against Tristan (Tristan is also my only victory with my Ogres )
Game 3: Vampire Duel vs Peter_Meers.
Game 4: An hazardous roster played by Rod (Skaven) together with pouring rain allows him to win.
Game 5 (table 1): His Halfling master chef stole ALL adam's rerolls for the entire game
For the record, Adam had the Premature award: He was first after the saturday 3 games. But because of Alex, he finished 4th
PS: results uploaded, just waiting for the magic button. |

It was a really smooth tourney. Maybe it is becaus eI am getting old and do not like staying uyp so late, but have to say that I really do like the five game format as it allows us more time to do our socializing on Saturday night (although I did go out with the GF).
Really surprised to have done so well with the Khemri as I did. If I had won my last game I would have come second place! But I take comfort in the knowledge that the only guy who beat me was the guy who won the whole tourney! I was also surprised to see what a strong Opponent score I had! Go me!
Hope to see you all out at the Q'ermitt! |

Oh yeah! Also cannot wait for the magic button to be pushed as this will mark my 24th team to be played in tourney! A momentous occasion in which I join a club which has only a very few members! |

Are you talking about people that went 500 times with Dan's mom ?
Because if you; re talking about the other button, it has already been pushed
Now you can play for real, so maybe you will have more wins that loss overall !
What does it feel like to be able to CHOOSE your next roster ? |

I received one third of all touchdowns against me and two thirds of all casualties against me in that first match on Saturday morning against your Khemri. You just had to go on like that!

Good to hear you and Rod had a good time that evening. |

Thank you to Laurent and Alex for hosting a very fun event as always! Had a great time playing all my opponents, thought I had the tournament in the bag playing Vampires in the last round after winning a few very tough matches against quality opponents (ie my opponents score of 50!! in rankings) Guess that just adds to the Premature award I won though!!
Thank you to Tristan for hosting us all at your place for the weekend, greatly appreciated.
Also want to clarify that I did not intentionally throw my dice tray in the last round after rolling double skulls in 4 of my first 5 turns with no rerolls due to a certain Master Chef!! I simply stood up to vent my frustration with my dice and my hand accidentally knocked it off the table. Sorry if it offended anyone as that was not my intention, I would never do something like that. I may scream, yell, bi**h and moan about dice but that goes over the edge. Hope that is not what it appeared to be. (Especially to Alex)
Take it easy all and hope to see you at a Tourney soon, thanks again.
Adam |

No worries, Adam!
The good news: The doctor said, the die did not even completely penetrate my skull, so likely the sight on my right eye will come back eventually! |
