As Liz wrote, flight and now hotels are booked. I would have already registered, but have not yet optimized my Vampirehalfling roster.
P.S.: Interesting side note: If you DON'T use the group rate code, you can get a room for $2 less per night. |

Wow... that sucks.
I just checked and you are correct. $77USD vs $79USD
I will call and yell at them on Monday.
A couple months back it was around $95USD so I bragged about our "special" deal.
Thanks for the feedback. |

Just a quick update on the above.
That rate of $77 is for a pre-purchase... as opposed to a normal hotel booking where you can cancel or change your reservation. Sites like Expedia and Hotwire do these kinds of services too.... however keep in mind if something comes up there are no refunds.
Also... once 4 rooms (out of their 182 rooms total) on any given night are purchased at that $77 pre-pay rate... it is no longer available.
Our group rate of $79 is actually the lowest possible for a group of our size.
I think for 2 bucks, its worth the ability to change. But that is the reason why you can see that other rate. |

Well, we booked flights and - the most difficult part - told our girl friends that we would be spending a weekend away playing with little metal figures, so I guess we already committed enough to risk the pre-pay rate. |

it was more something like:
"Seriously ? Going to Chicago for a BB tournament ?"
And then, just had to stay under the radar for a couple of days |

How do you tell your friends and co-workers that you are going on a 2½ week trip to USA and Canada (From Denmark) mainly to play a board game with small metal figures? |

Easy... tell them you are a double agent, but they can't tell anyone now that they know |

You are lucky you got the directors cut!
You would have never made the theatrical version. |
