| Stuck between bringing Skaven or Dwarf....like the idea of mutations at 20k, but also like agility at 20k for dwarves...........free re-roll is quite tempting too. |

| Some of the cards are pretty crazy too for 50k but it is random luck with those...mutations for Chaos Dwarves at 20K is pretty sick too!! I have sent off the rulebook to Mr Rubli to post on the website but if I know you and you want a copy sooner just send me a PM with your email and I can forward it directly to you. Pretty stoked and it is still 5 months away! |

Sorry, runki has it right...I got excited with all of you talking of Skaven taking mutations and to think I created the rulebook  Won't happen again lol, the basic premise behind that option of 5 Doubles skills for 20k is to give each of the Original Six the opportunity to alleviate there deficiencies somewhat, at the cost of a regular skill.
Every year we have given a 'themed' team a bonus worth approx 50k in value. All 3 options for all six races equate to 50k in total (with the exception being that rerolls for Orc and Skaven are 60k) That was about as even across the board that we could make it being fair and adding some diversity to the options available. |

| Some of the cards pertain to the kickoff. Could those cards be removed from the decks, so as one doesn't get screwed getting it? (Deathbowl has no kick offs) |

We did think of that CS, They will either be removed or amended to pertain to the ruleset with no kickoffs taking place. For instance an easy fix is one that states "to be played before or after the kickoff result has been decided" you can use it either before or after the scatter rolls are made to determine where the balls are placed. Some are a little more complicated and we will explain how they will be changed or removed. If a player is unable to utilize the card that is chosen that would defeat the purpose of the 'bonus' |

Just under 2 months now for my fav of all tournaments in the year.
Since DB2 I have never placed within the top 5 except last years incredible tie for 2nd (finishing 4th with tie-breakers, ARGH!!!!). Maybe and its a big maybe, I will finish in the top 3 playing in my 9th DB tournament this year.
Not playing Dwarf anymore.....going with the speed of Skaven. |

Looks like this might be the only weekend I can make until 2013. I've never done the death bowl thing before and if the London/K-W gang all drive up I'll be in for sure.
Not sure how High Elves made the cut into the original six...but that's not important now. I friggn' have no clue what team to go with. I loved wood elf at the lakeside this year (sometimes it's fun to score...and even win!) and feel liek sticking with them but I want in on the perks of picking a team from the six.
Some of those cards are pretty kick ass. |
