Good job Laurent! Wish I could have been there! Not only to play in one last tournament with you, but to kick your ass an send you back to France with nothing but a face streaked with tears an a mind full of memories about how Spazz and his Nurgle raped you on the last table!
You know it would have happened.....
Seriously going to miss you buddy!

Congratulations to Laurent, Mathew, and KÃ¥re for their podium finishes. It was great to see a Frog, a Hoser, and a Dane on the podium with the Americans blanked.
This was a great event. If you couldn't make it I highly recommend making it a priority to attend next year.
I'd also like to thank my opponents Khail (Skaven), Andy (Dwarfs), Chris (Undead), Zoot Suit Jeff (Orcs), Mathew (Undead), and Katie (Dwarfs) for six very fun and highly competitive match-ups.
To Jonny P, Heather, Xrteme, Jennifer, Mike, and Katie and all others that helped run and organize Chaos Cup I give you the highest marks for putting on a fun event that went off without a hitch. |

This was my first Chaos Cup and it was great! I met so many awesome coaches and played some seriously fun games. I got to listen to a Frenchman curse his dice and we both struggled with math so early in the morning , I played the infamous 40 Miners which was something I will never forget and his team looks so awesome! Then I played my first necromatic team (regen is nuts and werewolves are crazy fun!), I also discovered why people curse wood elves after the first 3 touch downs I began to channel my inner goblin player and fouled like it was my job (the wardancers went first!), I played a seriously bloody game against some humans and then some Amazon on Amazon action to end the Chaos Cup (we just shoved each other around a lot then it got bloody).
Thank you Jonny P and all the people who made this tournament and this community so awesome, I can't wait for Chaos Cup 2013!! |

Still have some NAF sign-ups to work out, but here are the FINAL STANDINGS from the tournament.
Note: The "Etiquette Sheet" used at this event will now have no bearing whatsoever on these numbers and will most likely be discontinued for next year's event. Many people chose not to fill it out and I didn't bother to chase them down about it either. At this point, there is no way I can do anything with data that is only partially filled out. |

Had a great time. Was happy to make it to top table rd 4, go 4-2 with a few close losses to the champ and a former champ. All six games were against great coaches.
Going to make every effort to make it back next year. |

It was a great tournament. Playing in the hotel was really convenient. This was my third Chaos Cup. Despite a rough start of bringing the wrong figure case, Nuffle smiled on me and I went 4 and 2 with Chaos. Something which I am pretty happy about. After going 3 and 1 the first day, I got to play at the top table Sunday morning and I was in contention for both the TD and Cas awards. Hopefully Chaos will get a little more respect now. Since next year's theme is my man Slannesh, I will have to represent with Chaos one more time before switching to something new. See you all next year. |
