ON THE SATURDAY EVENING OF BLINGTOOF'S GITBASH...
...we're gonna play TROLL BOWL. What is that you ask? Why, it's multi-player Blood Bowl on a Death Bowl pitch where each player's entire team consists of 1 goblin and 1 troll, or course! CLICK HERE for more details.
Need incentive? The winner gets a Willy Troll!

Hi, Grant. No disrespect intended but I can say with practical certainty that this tournament will, unfortunately, always conflict with the weekend closest to Remembrance Day. Last year I held it on the first weekend in November and it conflicted with HammerCon (an event I love to support). I've kept in close contact with HammerCon and will make sure that our events don't clash but as long as they're sticking with the first weekend in November I'll be having Blingtoof's Gitbash on the weekend after. I'm reluctant to hold it any later as this starts to infringe on many people's Christmas and other December holiday-related activities and holding it any earlier conflicts (or is too close to) some other long-standing tourneys in the area.
If your observance of Remembrance Day allows you to show up either Saturday or Sunday that's totally fine (PM me and we can work something out). Both my grandfathers were World War II veterans; I commend your adherence to observing Remembrance Day.[/quote]
understood. I hope I can make it one year. And the TROLL BOWL. idea is awesome! sounds super fun. enjoy |

Your rules for Troll Bowl are like a set of those Russian dolls! you click on elink, to find another link, to find another....
But under one of those links you mention the possibility of "themed teams" like a Treeman/Halfling for example. Would that pairing have the same stats as a regular Troll/Goblin, or do they have their own stats and abilities? |

Everything is a Troll and Goblin regardless of which models are used. I just wanted to give an option for people to participate using models they already have if they didn't possess a troll/goblin combo. Per the blog post on blingtoof.com:
"Themed alternate miniatures are encouraged as long as you have one clear “Big Guy†and easily associable smaller player that will be deemed a Troll and Goblin, respectively, and will have the same statistics." |

Awesome! I played my Underworld team last year and came third and tied for most CAS... in my own tournament... what a dick!
Don't forget about the Fouling award. It's essentially second place! |

You're right Xtreme, you are a well diversed coach. ;P And the fact that you have played dwarves in every tournament so far this year is proof of that. ;P jk Xtreme, I don't want to jump on the 40miners hating band-wagon, I am sure Camel Toe Joe is already pretty down about their dismal record this year. Its probably a good thing he is taking a break, get back to basics, instead of reliving the glory years. |

Goblin teams should get extra raffle tickets!
Am I still the only one? |
